Curious. Could use this for tracking my spice to know when the downer is imminent, and I know a lot of musicians/dancers use timers for their buffs.
Do you have to set it manually via options ordo you have a macro to do it?

I use a really simple macro:
/pause 600;
/tell luciee time's up;

Actually, there is an in-game alarm clock. You can access it via the options interface, "alarm" button. I always use it to set an 8 minute alarm for my buffs.
You can do the same on the command line thusly:
/addalarmin [H] [M] [message]
So my alarm in 8 minutes would be:
/addalarmin 0 8 buff done
If I wanted to set an alarm in 1 hour to remind me to check the pot roast:
/addalarmin 1 0 check that roast!
Hope that helps.

Don't worry about a timer... in the nextpublish there is a new buff box that will give you the time that your buff will last and it will also give you the the length of time your downer will be.

I think the buff box is more Doctor buff oriented, but we will see shortly anyway.

Well it's my understanding that the buff "indicator" only tells the person who RECEIVES the buff what they have buffed and how long it will last, etc., etc. It actually doesn't give any new information to the dancer or musician who is giving a buff to someone. So I still need a timer to tell me how long 8 minutes is.

I was just visiting and saw the thread. Here is a thread to a macro that is very useful for spice and can be modified for most things. It consumes spice, sets an alarm, and then sends you tells beginning at 60 secs before the downer.
