Dancers have not enjoyed any direct communication from a developer in months. Out of all the professions, we have beyond a shadow of a doubt been ignored the most. The Dev Tracker bears this out. The fact that nothing has been done to improve our situation bears this out.
Our top 5 issues were passed over or given scant lip service. In an attempt to appease us, they asked for 10 more questions, and now those have been ignored. I've lost track of the promises of when our communication would be coming and the disappointments as date after date was met only with silence.
The lack of communication to the dancer population has reached ridiculous proportions. Cries go unanswered. On a daily basis the devs find time to post a slew of posts on a variety of forums, including other professions, but never here. They never talk to dancers.
I'm putting out a call to every dancer out there and to those who claim to support us. If this silence angers you, do something about it.
Here's two things you can do. One, send a Private Message to Thunderheart, JustG, Q3PO or all three. Here is a link to their profiles and you will find a link to "Send this person a private message" on that page.
Thunderheart
JustG
Q3PO (edit: has private messages disabled so link removed)
Second, here is the email for Customer Support: [email protected]. You can send them an email letting them know that the dancer community is being ignored and trivialized and that we would like to be recognized as an actual profession in this game and given our due in terms of communication by the development team.
If people have other suggestions as to how to get their attention, please post them.
Feel free to do this as often as you care to. I truly hate to resort to these tactics, but I don't believe we have any other method of getting their attention.
I personally will be doing this every day until they come here and face the music. No one should feel pressured to do this. Do it if you are frustrated and want to take some kind of action.

1) Don't try to pass that stuff off here. Both Bounty Hunters and Commandos have been communicated with quite a few times in the past few months. You'd have to track back to early NOVEMBER before you could find a post in this forum by a red name, and even then it was a post without any substance. I have nothing against you or your profession(s), but post that tripe again and I'll dig up the proof and really make you look foolish.
2) This is about dancers. This is a dancer forum. If you want to complain about being ignored, do it on your own forums.

I'm a doctor, and from what I can tell we are in the same position. Hell look at all the new bugs SOE introduced w/ the last patch. Now we can't even buff a person if the little mod window still show's buffs. If the server goes down....yup your not getting buffed again for atleast 3 hours. even if you die. This issue has been known about for 3 FREAKIN months.
So don't feel bad....scan through the professions you will see a lot of people complaining about the same "SOE Don't Care"
Maybe they don't care...I don't know, but just know Dancers are NOT the only ones that feel ignored. Hell we haven't even had a TSR/CSR/Forum Admin in the Doctor forum for like ever...and when they do they just yell at us for flaming about issues that have been known about for months.

you know darn well that its not just dancers that are being neglected, stop acting like YOUR proffesion is the most important. I gladly take the one star for telling the truth. Everyone is ignored. Get used to it

I feel your pain MyT_Chicken... I'm a Master Doctor/Dancer... I get the worst of both worlds, lol.
as a Dancer I can't even tell you when your buff is applied!
We time it and hope for the best. At least now that we can SEE the result we'll figure out better what it takes to apply a buff as rapidly as possible.
Good luck to all the under-appreciated-ignored professions out there.

Our profession is no more or less important than any other. All I want is the same level of communication the other professions have. It is a plain fact that we're being ignored. Check the dev tracker, the evidence is there and clear for anyone to see.
This isn't about which profession needs the most work, or which profession has the most bugs. This is only about communication and those of you coming here and giving me a hard time over this...why is it that you object to us getting a bit of communication in lieu of the silent treatment we have been receiving? It's not like us getting communication is somehow going to threaten your professions, is it?
I'm tired of the other professions coming to our forums and beating us down. I have no idea why you want dancers to be shuffled off into a corner and ignored, but so far you're getting your wish.

Put your money where your mouth is then. Tell me what profession(s) you are, and then tell me that no developer has posted into your forums in the last few months.
