Even though im a male mon cal i'm thinking of taking up dancer to g with my silly personality. I am currently the only one in my guild who has any dancing ability, and we are needing someone to mind buff. I love socislization but im worried that with all the afk dancers out there i wont be able to get any experience. Just looking for opinions on this particular subject.

Group with them. Even if they're afk, you'll still get more dancing xp and healing xp is given to every dancer in the group if the customer do /watch on one of them.

If you have another pursuit in mind for your character, you may want to take that up first for the following reasons:
- Dancing, sad to say, doesn't pay well. So cultivate your mission or artisan skills first, if you plan to take those up
- Cantinas will be far more enjoyable when the patch goes through which changes the jedi system. Alreadly I'm seeing a reduction in the number of hologrinders. Some are still grinding, because they are at profession 20 or so, and wish to unlock now since they've put so much effort into the current system. Butmany people who have done one or two holocron professions are not grinding at all - but rather are waiting for the new system. Or they've stopped grinding when their holo goes silent, realizing that there probably isn't enough time for the casual player to grind out another 20 professions before the jedi system is changed.
If you wait a month, there may be an improvement in the profession because of the upcoming changes to the jedi system. I'm optimistic.
You can level now, with a bunch of zombies, or wait a bit and hopefully level with live humans. And leveling is half the fun!!

another suggestion.. find where the battles are being fought and go to the nearest cantina.. massive healing xp you won't get anywhere else
