Anyone have any tips as to which flourishes contradict each other to control drift.

I stare and stare and examine and I am just not seeing it.

It's not so much the flourishes as the timing. The flourishes always drop you where you started. But the base dance keeps going even when you aren't visually doing it. So you need to time the flourishes relative to where you are in the base dance. If you always flourish when you are in the same spot you won't drift.
