Thread: Can you talk when you are AFK? I can't anymore!!!
Check your chat settings if you have AFK-chat off (or whatever it’s called)
I remember one time if happened to me I was so confused thinking I was bugged I re-logged to try to fix it.

One problemis that you can't see the AFK tag on yourself, even if you target yourself - so you'll just have to try /afk to see what your status is...
I will admit that I did this once myself with my CH/BE... and couldn't figure out what happened to my speach. I think I had turned afk on when I took a BR break while sitting in a cantina getting my BF healed between missions, then forgot to take it off when I came back and left the cantina to go hunting.

If you press CTRL 1 it will show the tags above your character

CTRL+1 is how I always target myself, but that does NOT show the AFK tag on myself. Never did for me anyway - is that any different for anyone else?
