Entertaining was a uniqueconcept and I think a lot of really creative people have shown how much they can do with the limited tools that were made available. This relative handful of people I feel really added something to SWG. Unfortunately this is and always has been a combat game with all systems geared for that. Many would argue that our interdependcies were almost an after thought. I suppose the big clash came with the AFK issue and a percieved notion that a Buffbot was more important to the combat game then the entertainers who actually took the game serious. Unfortunately you can not deny the numbers. If you took everyone in all three entertainment professions along with those in the ID profession and added them all together, it is still a small number compared to the combat nature of the game. The handwriting has been on the walls for some time now, it is us entertainers who tried to avoid reading it. It really should not be a sudden flash of light as the announced CU changes. Many combat people will continue to carry a little novice entertainer to heal some battle fatigue at a camp, but otherwise our functionality is being gutted. There just isn't enough of us left to mount any effective lobby or campaign, we are a minority. I suppose as a female I should be used to being a minority in an on-line game. It sure was fun though, especially those early days. SWG was unique enough that there are no answers as to where we go from here and I just don't know if there isenough demand for creative people in on line games...

Then explain something to me. What, since the holocron, has actually been done to help us actually become part of the game? Can you list me one? I can list you 5-10 that hurt us.
And, people wonder why the doom and gloom.

I'm not denying that its somewhat warrented. I'm just saying that I'm pretty happy as I just remastered muscian and decided I might do some force sensitive work with it in order to keep it. I'm having alot of fun.

Well if you're a musician going for FS, I don't recommend the healing line, get luck or something useful. As it is the only FS bonus we get, improved mind wound healing, is being gutted.

Just doing it as a sideline, going to get it as I have exp. I admit I plan on AFKing in the corner from time to time but overall it'll just give me the ability to waste time and hit on female chars while going up the force sensitive. Mos Eisly on our server always has someone at the keyboard it seems.
