So there I was, playing my main character on Ahazi, who is just shy of novice BH. I am out at the tusken fort, trying to take it with 40 other people. we get slaughtered and pushed back down the mountain. so we all retreat back to the foothills and make camp. Everyone had taken a lot of mind damage. Well, i had just picked up novice entertainer the other day, so, why not try some dancing and help everypne out.

Let me just say, they loved it. Granted, a female Zabrak isnt the prettiest thing in the galaxy, the dancing worked. I danced for about an hour, and made almost 10k in tips. I also had a pretty good time just dancing and no fighting. So I logged out, and made a new character on Scylla. this one a twelik or however it is spelled. Great first nite to.

First thing I did was head to Bestine. That is a great place, lots of people, crowded cantina, lots of damage there. I joined a group and started dancing. Soon I was racking up the XP. I couldnt believ how fast it was rolling in. So were the tips. I was very soon working on heal 2 and dance 2. I had about 5k in the bank. I needed a new outfit.

Head to the bazaar, buy some white boots, black shorts, and a short sleeve jacket. I was looking good. Headed back to the cantina and danced for about an hour. I was surprised how busy the cantinas are. i am usually only in there for five minutes or so. But some people spend quite a bit of time there. And spend quite a bit of credits. Before I logged off i was working on dance 3 and heal 4. Cant wait to hit novice Dancer.

All in all, a pretty good time. considering I didnt even leave the cantina. Money isnt as hard to get as I thought it would be. those 200-300 credit tips add up quickly. Now I need to find myself a great outfit. There also seems to be quite the little sub culture of entertainers in the cantinas. Image designers, musicians and dancers all know each other. Quite a fun time I must admit. i think I will be playing this character more often than I thought I would.

So if your on Scylla, stop by the Bestine cantina and look for a dark skinned lady by the name of RandomAct. I will be the one tearing up the floor, and occasionally falling down.

Honestly Dancing is alot of fun. I am a Marks/Scout/CH/Ranger/Riflewoman/BH/Entertainer I like to goto the cantina and hang out with flawed diamond for a couple of hours we talk and dance. It is a great change from slaughtering every mob in the galaxy! Altho I dont get many tips I really enjoy just talking to the people that are in the cantina and haveing fun.

I think it's wonderfulyou had so much fun =) And your situation is not uncommon - in the Cantina where I play (Keren on SS), many of us will encourage regular customers who 'dance about the area' or what have you to pick up novice entertainer so they can dance with us or play with us. Surprisingly, quite a few have.

Even more surprisingly, many of them have enjoyed it so much that they've joined our groups, and can't stop saying how they did not realize how much fun it could be to be an entertainer. Hehe Last night at one point, we had a Weaponsmith in our band and a bothan Tailor\Smuggler in the dance troupe. It was GREAT fun, for both sides!

I'm glad things have started off so nicely for you - good luck in your new career <g>

Actually, if you are a female, female Zabraks can be very pretty, just catch up with a image designer to give you a bit more hair (But Twi'lik is better *sticks out tounge*)

Glad you had alot of fun I love being a dancer, I'm glad others are finding out how fun it can be too.

Very good to hear Random, I must admit I too was surprised at how much I enjoyed being an entertainer when I first tried it out. I did it more to mess around for a few hours then to do something serious, little did I realize I'd be hooked and spend more time doing that then anything else. The community is great and if your a social person I just don't think theres anything more fun out there. So welcome to the profession, hope the rest of your nights are as fun as your first!

I too have had a recent change in professions. I originally created a Mon Cal Architect. Had a lot of fun until I got to medium houses and harvesters then is when it got really bad. I was running 16 harvesters, tons of orders but I couldn't keep up. The resources couldn't come in fast enough and the orders kept pouring in, when I was online I was in tell hell constantly. Could barely do a full harvester run without being so overwhelmed I just wanted to log off. So I was preparing to delete my architect....but my husband being the loving man he is, bought me a second account and I made my Twi'lek Dancer that I wanted in the first place.

That was last Sunday. I am now Novice Dancer, and still loving every minute of it!
