Dancer Archive

actually i suppose it would concern all professions but i don't see a general profession forum. anyway...my gf did the math and she realized that if she wanted to master both the dancer and ranger professions she would have to have 252 skill points. my question is this...once she becomes a dancer, could she give up some skills in the entertainment profession to free some skill points up? I know you're supposed to free points from the top down, but isn't dancer kind of a seperate skill tree from entertainer?

Only two lines of the entertainment skill tree--dancing and entertainment healing--need to be completed to become a dancer. That should leave plenty of points to master another elite profession. It probably rules out a hybrid profession, but you can check the character tester on teh Allakhazam site to see.

no, ranger is an elite profession, not hybrid. by becoming a master dancer she wouldn't have enough points for ranger... as far as i can tell, the only professions open to her if she wants to master dancer are artisan related.

Try doing your math again. I show that you can get Master Ranger (which include Master Scout also) and Master Dancer and still have 4 points left over.

it seems that your link leads to a screenshot slick, but i found the site anyway...and i see what my gf did wrong...she added the master entertainer skill to the list when she shouldn't have. but i still wonder about my original question...if you wanted to,couldyou free up points from a novice skill tree once you reach an elite or hybrid level? the prima guide only goes as far as mentioning two skills on the same tree, soshe would have to get rid ofentertainment healing IV before III, butlet's say she'sa Master Dancer and aMaster Ranger but wanted somemore points so she could at least use a weapon, could she get rid of DancingIV or Entertainment Healing IV and keep all of her Master Dancer related skills?would it be considered a seperate skill tree even though they are related to each other?
