Thread: Dancerpalooza 1
I don't have a cantina to host a gathering yet, so someone else needs to step up and run the first 'Dancerpalooza'. You should have a cantina to run it in, and hopefully a tailor and maybe an image designer, both willing to help us out. The outfits don't need to be costly, we just don't want a bunch of people in newbie outfits or their underwear.
Someone step forward and run our first cross-server gathering. Also, if anyone likes to spin the discs, maybe they'd like to set up an internet music station for us all to dance basic-1 to. Musicians are invited too! As an aside, if you're going to just come and go AFK, be prepared for serious public humiliation!

I may interested in doing this. I am on Flurry and run The Dream Inn which can be acessed by shuttle, its also about equal distances from Tyrena, Kor vella and Coronet. The Dream Inn is home to the Corellian Dreamers, Flurry's Finest Entertainment Group. I also have another character on this server that is working on tailor. I wouldnt be able to provide Fleshwraps, Leotards, etc But I would be able to provide Bustiers of all types, Fashionably Pleated Skirts, Infiltrator Leggins and the like if I can convince my husband to come craft while I dance and have a good time. 
As far as image designers, one of our band members has the skill if he can attend and would be willing, if not I can ask around. One of our other band members was working on chef, perhaps I can convince him to make up some snacks.
Our cantina pit area is fairly open and hosts two dancecages, the stage is pretty much clutter free so there would be lots of room to get our groove on.
Has an invent of this typebeen done before? If so, about how many people attended? If not, about how many people would you expect to attend? I would also put the word out on Flurry, invitingentertainers of all kinds.

I personally would like to see this happen maybe once a month, each month at a new location if possible. I'm just being a catalyst here, I'm not trying to run it, nor could I, since it's going to be on servers I don't yet have characters on. The hosting group/person/cantina needs to really make it happen. If a bunch of different people want to host it, we can just use a simple random lottery to choose the venue for each one, or something like that?
I don't care, I just want to meet people and have some fun dancing. I may be able to host on Bria in the future, just not sure when.

Well I couldn't host this month, or even next month due to other commitments. Though I am sure I could speak with the owner of Club Memor about hosting this event in Tirius, the roleplay city of Eclipse which also happens to be the official home of Talus Moon I'm sure we could sort out the catering and image design too...
So put me down for hosting one some month, probably April, but I'll confirm.
On the tune spinning front, I'd hope we could rope in Nabooty's Hyperdrive radio crew... so drop them a line. Adian Cruise is probably the best contact there at the moment.... not sure where Aktrez is (same people behind the huge Miss Galaxy event - http://www.missgalaxyswg.com/).

The theatre and cantina in Mandalore (Bria Server) are open to all. I'll even have the decor of the cantina changed if we want a theme. The only issue is that Mandalore is on Dantooine and it costs 1300cr to get there and another 400cr to get to Mandalore. But that's where you'll find me unless I'm exploring the various cantinas of the galaxy.
