This is a thread on my galaxy's forum. It makes me sick. Can you believe people are taking heat for letting the real live dancers have precedence and other people are defending it??

What has our profession become, its hard enough getting any respect. I don't care if holo dancing sucks for the die hard gamer, they don't have to take it out on me.

About the argument that the group was not full: maybe it got full when he was washing his jeans and people left while he was doing his grocery shopping. Just because he came back to a group that wasn't full doesn't mean it never was. How the hell would he know???? LOL

It's not my server or I'd jump in and ask, if someone was looking for a group to hunt, would he take a bunch of people who were at the mall with him or would he want to take people who were there to hunt? Would he be willing to split the xp and the payout with people that had been gone for over an hour? My bet is he wouldn't.

My favorite though, is the afk group. Even with /join in your macro, you can't join unless the leader's at the keyboard to invite you. How frustrating is that?!?! Walk into a room of 16 dancers and musicians, beg to join, send tells to the individuals to get ZERO response. Now THAT is annoying.

I dropped master dancer because of those afkers. They might as well put npc that heal bf because those afk dancers bring nothing to the game. The cantina is suppose to be full of chit chat but people just run in and run out because almost everyone is afk and is spamming "heal my action" or "give me tips please".

People actually run around shouting and looking for a doctor. I feel loved

Lately they look for master dancers too. Folks are becoming aware that a big body and tiny brain is no way to get through life. I just avoid Theed and Coronet.

I automatically kick any and all AFKers out of my entertainment groups when I am the leader. Period.

In my view, what's the AFKer gonna do about it? He is AFK. And if he comes back and finds out he was booted and gets made and starts harassing you? Well that's easy enough to deal with: /addignore.

They get to play the game using in-game tools however they want, right? That's their "right", as they keep saying.

Well, that's fine. Same goes for us. Just tell 'em, "Hey, SOE gave me, as group leader, the ability to kick you from a group just so I could be a ruthless dictator about it. Obviously if SOE had not wanted me to do this they wouldn't have provided me with the ability."

Since that is exactly what they keep telling us about Long Term AFK MAcroing.
