It's practically heart-wrenching to see so many leaving the Dancer community, the Musician community, and the Entertainer community. The AFKers, the Holo-grinders, the blatant disrespect from many, the lack of just anythingis driving people off, and it's sickening. Not the fact that they're leaving, but what's causing their leaving.
So many of us love what we do. We love the socialization, the dancing, playing our music. Do you remember ever having a good, live group? One that was chatty, amusing, active? Ever have pillow fights? How about games of tag? Ever have someone throw a pillow at you for your butt when you kept falling? Who misses this? These times, these days that used to make living in a cantina so fun? And now it's ruined, and rare to find, and it's driving people off. The true entertainers are being driven away, and who's going to be left? Zombies, macrobots. They may as well put NPC entertainers in the cantina at this rate, because no one will be left! When all the live entertainers go, who'll be there to teach the skills? Though granted, those that ruined our profession deserve to pay for every single one of their "hard-earned" skills! Well, good, they can use their hard-earned cash!
We can't, we just CAN'T let them drive us off. There is nothing...I repeat, nothing out there that allows entertainment like this of any sort. There are no games I've seen where you can dance, or play music. And I'm hooked on it! Absolutely hooked. I left the game, I cancelled my account a few months back, but I've recently come back, because I can't stay away. I tried Horizons, and while fun, I kept thinking of this game. Of my Master Entertainer/Master Dancer on Naritus. My free month wasn't even up when I cancelled Horizons and came back. And now I'm working to complete the triplicate, Master Musician!
But am I going to be the only one? I'm teary-eyed writing this, because it's such a shame to let them win! It's absolutely heart-breaking to let them drive us, drive everyone away! Will all the cancelled accounts bring the Devs' attention to our issue? Honestly, I doubt it. Will they check the records of the accounts? Will they realize the accounts held mainly entertainer characters? I don't think so.
It hurts. Each time one of you leaves, each time one of the real entertainers leaves, it hurts. Because that's one less for use, and one more for the holo-ers and the macrobots. That's one more slot for the zombies to fill.
I understand how hard it is to take, I really really do! I may not know everyone here. In fact, I know I don't. I may never have met the majority that are leaving. But it's sad to see each and every one of you go, and I know that I and all of us will miss every one of you that goes, that just absolutely can't take it anymore. Because it hurts to see something you love to do go down the drain. It hurts.
But we have to face the pain! At all costs, we have to fight for our profession, because it is OURS! Not the macrobots', not the AFKers! OURS! WE worked our asses off for this profession! We WORKED to get where we are! I have never AFK'dand I do not macro! I have worked my ASS off for my masters! I am keeping my Master Entertainer, my Master Dancer, and I will make and keep Master Musician as well, all those zombies be DAMNED!
We're doing our best, dammit! All of us! Cancelling accounts will send messages to devs perhaps, but there are other ways! STAND UP! Let them know that they will NOT, absolutely WILL NOT DRIVE US AWAY! We're here, and as long as I can help it, as long as I can afford it, I'm here! And bloody hell if I'm not here to stay! We CAN make ourselves heard. We CAN stand up for our profession!
WE MUST.

Hi,
Umm ... I am kinda fine with it. I seem to get a lot more attention and tips beinga rare fewnon-afk dancer.
Dropping them seems very extremely already, cancelling might be too harsh.
"Hard earned" ... yeah you got me there. I had a side job that pays very well. I am almost financially independent. Plus, I have some very wealthy clients who kinda support me when needed.
Only thing I have problem is those people who macro-comment/shout. It gets into our juicy conversations ... so I have to use /tell now. As far as I am concerned as long as you don't macro-comment/shout/beg, I am fine with whatever you do. (other than hunting me of course)
