I hate it when I'm dancing my bum off and an AFK-er drifts his way into MY area, and I'm the one that has to stop dancing and move because he's not even friggin' there! Does this bug anyone else?

Oh there there ...

It is just because you do not have a strong "aura" or presence. You have a lot of learning to do. Once you have the strong aura, you will simply be radiant and it wouldn't matter who is on the way. ...

But don't get me wrong, not all master dancers are radiant. It is not about what dance you do or what you wear.

In a meanwhile, patience is a virtue and also if they take your place, take it back. (Problem solved)

The one that gets me is the person who was AFK for 7 hours today... comes running over to me and asks to be trained. I train them and they say thanks then imeadiately start dancing right where they are. Which happened to be actually passing through my body. Now I had been in this spot for hours, but here... I had to move because she had also gone imediately afk so I couldn't ask her to move. >.< Out of my space you nerf!

It's not just you. The insane drifting with no correction is ONE of the things that we at the keyboard despise about those who are perpetually AFK. That doesn't bother me as much as the spatial and emote spam that people put in their macros though...especially when they beg for heals or even MENTION tips. Ugggghhh don't get me started!!

If you EVER mention tips when you're dancing or playing music, at the keyboard or not, you need to get a TEF and get thrown out for 5 minutes. Why don't people get that talking about tips is tacky???

Here's what I do. When I see a Entertainer/Dancer who is AFK, my combat team and I will get healed up from them, but tip the next 3 people around them. They're the ones who are busting their asses and actually giving the cantina some life.

So to all you Emtertainers/Dancers, I appreciate all that you do for us combat types. As a former Dancer, I know that tips suck at times, but my payoff was meeting lots of cool people and getting the occasional discount on resources! And I agree about the 5 minute TEF, cause there's lots of sumbitches I'd throw out the cantina, LOL! Hmmm, I wonder if the devs will make a Bouncer profession for such a situation at cantinas?

A Mon Calimari, A trandoshan and a Human are in the tuskan fort. They are just trying to get some EXP and are trying to kill this guy when two guys, a Master TKA and Master Rifleman run into the room- kill the tuskan in 1 shot, loot it and leave. Without a word.

So- they do more damage- taking most of the EXP and the poor group of 3 who had been working hard are left SOL. Every time they run into a room and start working a MOB- this happens.

A crafter has worked a very long time to get where they are, they experiment on their creatons to get the best things possible, but they can not sell their wares because some shmuck is selling the same thing of random quality for less than even a little bit of the resources needed cost.

Do they not have a right to be annoyed?

We do not get upset over everything. I don't remember anyone freaking out when I used coloring in a post. Oooo, scaaaarrryy. However (as we've said before but some people just don't care) we get upset over being insulted or walked on just like the Crafter and those combat people do. There is nothing saying that we have to tolerate being treated like dirt.

We tolerate these people and their right to wiggle their naked little butts around while they are sleeping or drooling in front of a TV- but we do not have to like them. We do not have to like it when they go wandering into our space. We do not have to like the lag they cause or the way that they give everything away for free- or even some start calling Mind buffs Lap Dances (Which isn't even freaking implemented in the game).

And we are allowed to comiserate with our comrades about the things that frusterate us rather than keep it pent up inside.

You don't have to like it. And you don't have to read it (though you like to post about how we are all wrong) But don't try and belittle our feelings of pride for our profession.
