Thread: Galaxy Guys A New Look.
While you gals are waiting for us to vote on who makes it into the Gaxaxy Gals 2004 Calendar, you might want to take a second look at the Galaxy Guys Calendar at the following link:
http://www.furplay.com/swg/cal/pdf/GalaxyGuys2004.pdf
Why would I want to do that, you might ask? Well, incase you missed it, the last 3 letters of that link are PDF, which means, of course, that I've gone ahead and taken the trouble to recreate the calendar so that it can be printed using any form of Adobe Acrobat Reader....All you really need is the ability to understand how to duplex (print to both sides) of a legal sized (8.5x14) paper and a stapler. I had to make some changes to the origonal calendar, like add a centerfold, but you now can print the whole calendar and put in on your wall...
So to sum up:
Using the file from the provided webpage link, you can print the full calendar using 8.5x14 (LEGAL) sized paper printed on both sides (otherwise it won't look right, and you'll have the wrong guys on the wrong months) AND as an added bonus there is a centerfold for your added viewing pleasure....
(Now you know why we're voting on 15 images for the girls...I needed a centerfold for the print copy of the calendar so I have an even number of pages...)
A technical note:
For some stupid evil reason, somewhere between Publisher and Acrobat, the pages that need to be printed upside down got put back right side up. What this means is if you print the calendar without some paper adjustment (as I had origonally intended) it won't look right until July...So how do I fix this? I can't. No matter what I do to the origonal Microsoft Publisher file, by the time Acrobat gets the file, the "upside down" pages (That's how they'd look if you viewed them using print preview in Publisher. I don't the Acrobat printer driver I'm using understands tent folds.) get put back upright....So for *YOU* to fix the problem you're going to have get talented with your printer...
Print page 1 and 2 duplexed as normal (Page 2 is the back side of Page1), then Print page 4-14 *EVENS* only (2,4,6,8,etc.) to one side of a page. Now arange the pages so that you're going to print on the back side of these pages, but UPSIDE DOWN, and print pages 3-13 ODD ONLY. So basically what happens is page 3 is on the back of page 4, but upside down if you were to flip the page like a book. That way, when you go to put the pages together and make the fold, it works like a calender is suppose to...
You're welcome...
Of course my wife took care of thanking me already...
Smart woman!
Doesn't mean I can't appreciate your efforts though. *grin*
Woot, a wookiee! I love the disco Stormtrooper, but have to admit that I have a definite weakness for guys in short skirts and Lekku Y'sraks. Mmmmm... *lol*
