Best bet is to do a search on these forums or on Google. There's a whole lot of information on how to build macros for SWG out there and in here if you spend the time to look.

Sorry I cannot help further, I've never bothered to learn how to create a macro, I'm one of those fools that keeps pressing the flourish buttons.

Ah, A'Ri, as usual you are right!

I retract my previous advice. I keep forgetting this is the Girlfriend Profession (tm). I am SUCH a fish out of water.

Ladies, please help the nice gentleman out, I'm going to go hire someone to beat me soundly while instructing me how much happier I'll be as a bounty hunter.

I can help you with the latter part Javy!

Macros are pretty easy. Here is a real simple one. They can get very complicated, depending on what you want to do.

/flo 1;

/pause 8;

/flo 2;

/pause8;

/flo 3;

/pause 8;

/ui action toolbarSlot00;

This requires a dance already being preformed. Place it in THE VERY FIRST slot on a toolbar. It will repeat. the flos can be changed oradded to, This uses only the first 3 flos of any given dance. The pauses can be adjusted to suit the particular dance. I hope this helps her get started. I only use macros when I'm socializing, otherwise, like Javy i do it manually..

Macros can be your friend - or your worst nightmare! (Just ask Lei and Roho how much trouble I've had! ) Keep in mind that they can and do get bugged and sometimes run away from home never to be found again.

An entertainer should not rely on macros. Manual flourishing is fun! Especially when you do band flourishes with other dancers!

Make sure you have a /startdance dance_name in the macro so if you stop for any reason you'll start up again and not stand around all night doing nothing.

If you have novice medic you can add a couple /tenddamage self or /healdamage self lines so if you do stop from running out of action you'll heal yourself.

Macros aren't necessary, and neither is AFKing ... it's more fun if you are there to build a social network and experience the cantinas
