I'm a Master Musician who is going for Master Dancer. I was in the cantina earlier today working on Dance XP, when I went downstairs to get some pizza, came back up, and I was playing my instrument (I kept my horn equiped). I was playing music and flourishing, but I was getting dancer XP.

The good thing is the Dancer XP was coming in at Master Musician level (110 XP per tick). The bad thing is I don't know what happened to start this or if this is any kind of bug.

Has anyone else seen this before?

That's a known bug when you're holding an instrument. I'm sure eventually someone will post how to exploit it for you.

Huh. I've never gotten experience from that bug. I've just had musical notes coming from my belly.

N'jessi, that would be your pancreas playing a fizz and getting all that dance EXP instead of you. Sort of to give you something to listen to if there are no musicians around.

You can do a great "air" mandoviol like this though.

I've had it happen to me before, and I've seen it happen before. I usually stop and unequip my weapon, then continue dancing. Because it IS an exploit if you continue to flourish and "play music" while getting dance XP,

and it's fairly easy to figure out WHY it would be considered an exploit, but I won't lay it out for you so others can take advantage of it. ^.^
