One of the mini publishes, 9.1 or 9.2, can't remember which, is supposed to add more chat channels or something. Maybe the devs will give us an official Ent chat channel for each server?

I've got about 15 in there now, but I'll see what the coming days bring 
Constant hounding might get them in the habit of jumping in there IF we don't get an official chat.

I started the ent chat on Bria and believe me, it was slow at first. It took coutless tells and emails and /chat invite <name> ent to get people to habitually join. Still the ents on ent chat are only a minority, but we have a grand time
. It isn't the quanity of ents, but the quality on the individuals. At first I only created the channel when I was on and when I logged... it died, but eventually others began to pick up the burden. Now, the first one of us on creates it.

Now, the first one of us on creates it. The best advice I can give you is tell anyone and everyone, make sure channel is public. Set up invite macros. Once people join, they usually stick around. The trick is just getting them to join that first time and making them want to join again. Is Bria the only server that has an oft-used Chat Channel specifically for entertainers? How did Brians manage to pull so many into it as users? Chilastra hasn't shown much interest so far, but I'm going to keep pushing our EOC - Entertainers of Chilastra chat channel. Any words of wisdom? Advice? Did you recommend that they hotkey a /chat join ent command? Do you have somebody that logs on each morning to set it up then go afk, just to ensure that it's open at all times? Thanks for any help

ATK chat was started a few days ago on Tempest and is still in its birth pains but is coming along quite nicely. Its not only for the entertainers but for the public so they can find us and we can help them in their times of need.
Gradually the community is learning about this too, so we shall see what happens.
I am very happy with it though.

I start Cantina when ever I get on Bloodfin with much the same reason hopefully ATK entertainers can use it. But also at some point maybe others can use it to find us.
