I started playing SWG a long long long time ago i played for many months as an artisan until JTL came out and then I quit because my interest went away. Just the other day my friend told me I absolutley had to come back so 5 days ago I decided to give it another shot. I chose entertainer because it was a community I hadn't been part of before.

I can't tell you how pleased I am to be a dancer The community is awsome, learning to time and use my flourishes is a great deal of fun and the people you get to talk to and meet are fantastic.

I was also picked up by the FunkyTown guild..what a great group of people

What happens to my current template and CL (MD/TKM) when I becomeand complete the Padawan trials? I know I must maintain 24 FSskill points, and I know I can't wear armor. Do I loose my MD/TKM skill points? Does my TK armor still work? Do I stay CL80? Do I just slowly surrended my MD/TKM skill points so I can aquire Jediskills?

you slowly surrender them, your tka armor will work untill your jedi armor is higher than it, you'll mostlike stay cl 80 because as you drop tka skills you'll pick up jedi skills that will keep it up.

Actually you're gonna drop to about CL 62-64 for a bit, maybe even as low as 54. Not automaticly, but as you start getting jedi skills. All the Jedi trees are heavily weighted for SP in the bottom. Your first and second tier boxes are gonna sap your CL, but once you start gaining 3rd and 4th tier boxes, you'll see your CL increase.

i have a buddy doing that and the sad thing is when you drop a high level elete to pick up a low level jedi skill you lose combat level.

so you are 80 and you drop say 1 high level melee and train 1 low jedi when you are done u are level 75 or something. Its the backwards grind

Last night I killed Mallichae. Today I will finish my Padawan trials. After a long long grind, I can finally say....

Hello fellow Jedi!

After a year of playing, I actually bothered to do the jedi grind. The idea of grinding right now makes my head hurt, but it was worth it. Thank you for all jedi who let me join their AoE groups to grind FS.

Yes, congratulations. It is a nice feeling to unlock jedi. Though the grind ahead of you will make the FS grind pale in comparison, at least you will be actually getting some skills for it (though they are mostly borked now due to the nerfs...'er 'Jedi balances').

At least this way you can actually see the benefits of the grind. Oh, if you say your head is spinning now, try grinding out the FS skills with the old system of XP sharing/solo. My head is still spinning from the FS grind.
