o Also Use /change often, even if you only pick the same song your already playing.
o Spam the Flourishes they ask for, Don't stop.
o You can also do flourishes, and songs they DON'T say they hate.
Hope this Helps some

Start dancing on L1
F1, F2, OF, F1, F2, OF
Change dance to L2
F1, F2, OF, F1, F2, OF
By now they should be slightly unsatisfied or perhaps neutral
Change dance to OD
F1, F2, OF, OF
By now they should definitely be neutral, or perhaps slightly happy (though usually not yet)
Change dance to L1
F1, F2, OF
Change dance to L2
F1, F2, OF
By now, they should be either there, or nearly there. Keep switching between L1 and L2 and doing F1 and F2 till they are happy.
I can't promise this will work... All I can tell ya is, I went 6 for 6 on both dance and music quests using this strategy. It's never failed for me. The key is to switch around the neutral point to a dance they did not mention (not one they hate, just not one the like either) and do the flourishes they like on a different dance. That seems to push them past the neutral point, re-setting their dance preferences (perhaps) so that when you switch back to the preferred dances they re-evaluate you and you get a higher satisfaction score.

My advice.. Get some friends to help. It makes it 100% easer. I only failed on the first audition once, Because I tryed to do it alone, and didn't get onto the stage fast enought. Once I got some friends to help poll the audiance and it was easy.
This really is not necessary. Make a macro for /conv and stick it on your hotbar. Then stand on the stage and just click each NPC one at a time and use the /conv button you just made and then read the spam in the chat window. I've never been too late for a practice using that method.

Sorry text hasn't appeared above:
I have tried the dancer quest 4 times now and keep failing! I've read the dancer F&Q's but didn't find it very helpful, i talk to the audience and find out what they like and don't and i follow them but they are still unsatisfied!
Someone help please ![]()
Here's my suggestions others can pipe in what helps them ![]()
- Bring someone with you. This person's job is to poll the audience. Tell you what flourishes to avoid and which to spam.
- When doing your performance switch dances to the requested dances a lot. As often as you can manage.
- Spam and i do mean spam your flourishes.
I generally type out:
/changed;/flo 1;/flo 2;
in my line (the flos being the reqested ones) to change to the requested dances and just control+up to do it over and over and over throughout the performance.
Another thing to do is have you and your assistant have a /conv macro (just a macro with /conv; in it) to talk to the audience members quickly.
Good luck!

I was in the same situation as you. failed the audition 5 times just following the audiences instructions on what dances they like and dislike and what flos they like and dislike. when i went back for the 6th time i decided to do things alittle differently.
I made a couple of /changedance macros and placed them in hot keys for dances i usually do alot. : Exotic2, Lyrical2, and Popular2.
i ran around and convoed the audience and got the dances they like and dislike and the flos they like and dislike then went on stage and started dancing with thedance they prefer. i did every flo i have except for the one they didnt like. and about a 3rd of the way through the dance i changed the dance to one of my own. then about 2/3rds of the way through i changed the dance again.
before i wasn't getting past neutral. allways failed there. this time they were satisfied long before the audition ended.
hope this helps ![]()
In short, while npc audiences have favorite dances and flourishes, what they really like is variety. Don't conentrate on just the "good stuff". Change it up a bit here and there, as long as you avoid the stuff they dislike.
I have friends who I tell this to in-game and they will not listen to me and they keep failing. Even when I say, "I went 6 for 6 and never failed using this method" they don't seem to believe me. LOL.
Glad it worked for ya.
