Thread: SHADOWFIRE DANCERS and the JEDI GRIND

One of my five toons is grinding Jedi and I am looking for a large group to get together to blow through the heightened senses dancer xp afk all day everyday in an effort to get 4 trees under senses. This will require a group of people to have auto /join macros and some sort of schedule to regroup. Is anyone interested? Lately, the newest batch of dancers are zombies and aren't aware of all of the dancer macros and how entertainer works in general. Now I am the first to admit thatI enjoy a fun time and am not suggesting that we afk all the time...we can talk..lol but this is a great way to get 900K dancer xp in a day to transfer to 90K FS xp

Did you really just say "lately all entertainers are zombies" while soliciting the formation of a full group of permanantly AFK entertainers?

Because if not, then it’s very, very sad.
I have no issues with people grinding Jedi while dancing, but must you do it as a zombie?
In a public place?
Hmmm will that make you The Undead Jedi when you finished?
Is that what the new batch of zombies in Theed is?
It turned my stomach last time I walked in there, very sad because it used to be my most favorite place to dance in.

We do indeed have a terrible cycle on Shadowfire. Newperformers constantly find "masters" who are AFK and thus not providing guideance or instruction on how to become a good *entertainer*. So the newpeople simply turn to the darkside of zombification. Our only recourse is to try to set good examples ourselves in the hopes that our server will recover and once again have a great bunch of actual entertainers not just a group of people who move around the floor ina pattern.

If the latest batch are zombies, what are you suggesting then? Dancing skeletons? Clogging troll trash bands? Apparently they must be aware of yourdancer macros and how your brand of entertainer works in general. Why do you people insist on ruining the Dancer and Musician professions by advocating such purely greedy and misguided notions? Let the REAL entertainers take of entertainers and entertaining while you go AFK grind dancer xp somewhere far away from anything remotely resembling a cantina or tavern.

WELL NOW..lolSeems like we got some hotpants in a bunch here...
This post was envoked out of frustration of a few things:
1.) The jedi grind is insane and would take the average person (who has a life) 5 years to get padawan
2.) In addition, as one who has enjoyed non-afk time in the cantina, it is frustrating when you are in a group of 15 people and you are talking to 3 of them
3.) When you run into a cantina and ask for multiple invites and no one answers until you offer them 1 million credits to get in.../emote cuts off theirperfectly styled,newly ID'd hair and tosses it all over the other afk dancers and musicians.
Oh and btw...it was mostly a joke but also a pretty fair assessment of the current status of the entertainer population...
For those quality entertainers..../bow3 .../wink..../tip 25000 thank you for what you to...

Hahaha..and another thread on this forum todayreminded me of when I thought it couldn't get much worse...over a year ago. Good luck on getting your slot or whatever it is your grinding for. Too bad the game is set up so it's convenient to make our profs all the worse for it. It's not your fault the way the system is..but I guess we all make our own choices.
