Sounds like a silly question to most but I've only started hearing these terms since 12.1 published and severly started annoying just about everyone.

Can someone please explain what is meant by these terms (Active/Passive)

All I knew before was I grouped witha Master Dancer/Musician.....listened then watched (or vice versa) get a fullset of buffs and you're off....nice and simple.

Now the music works as before (as long as you're grouped) but dancer buff dont work unless the dancer "Directs the performance to you". This is fine if you're the only person in the group but if there's multiple players in the group (and there normally are, and quite a few) it can get tediously long having to wait for your turn to get the buff.

Active means using the /setperform command, and passive means that you perform while grouped with people.

I tested the latest patch last night on TC. As of then, all forms of passive buffing was working, for both dance and music, and regardless of the order of /stoplisten or /stopwatch.

Simultaneous active (/setperformed) buffs were still breaking the dance buff if /stoplisten was invoked before the /stopwatch though.

So... two bugs fixed, one to go!

Hmm...yeah, but things have looked stellar on TC for sometime, yet nothing's been showing up on Live to fix the problem.

Did they patch it this morning on Live or not? Anyone know?

And thanks for all the crazy mad testing, Deila
