Thread: Mind Buff Clothing

Ok I heard from a CSR there is a +5 mind buff (dancer) hotpants out there. Have any of you seen these? It's like the leotard for the ladies, but for the guys. If this was a lie told to me by a CSR then this game has a sexist nature to it.

The schematic for the Exquisite Leotard is one of the rewards from Jabba's themepark. The schematic makes 3 leotards. Each leotard has +5 to Dance Mind Enhancement, +5 to Dance Wound Healing and +5 to Dance Battle Fatigue Healing. It may only be worn by female avatars. We have asked that an equivalent be made available for men, however, none has turned up. (not feeling so hot tonight so I hope I got those numbers right)

Just re-read your message..yeah..I'm a wreck tonight. Nope..nothing for men has turned up..but I sure am hoping it does soon!

+5 mind enhanced hot pants would be sweet! The leotards are soooo boring. Good thing I have black +25 dance mind enhancement long uniform gloves

I know that's what was planned. I didn't know it was in yet, but it could be. Has anyone done Jabba's lately?

I don't think it should be hotpants either. We need something that everyone can wear regardless of gender or species, and that doesn't require us to be nearly naked. /sigh if only I could find high level SEA's for dance mind enhancement instead of heavy weapons.

Uh, they asked us about it when I was DC and male bonus clothes were on my lists so I got that answer back. Tiaga did too I think (because he was worried people wouldn't go do Jabba's enough by the time it was in, so I remember him talking about it). In fact, I'm pretty sure that was our first question for TH when he was doing those and hotpants came up in the follow up thread I posted in here. That may be where the idea for making them hotpants came from.


I'll try to find the Dev post asking for more info in the Corr forum so Deila can do a follow up.

What's with the Dev obsession with making Dancers naked?


I've seen some great dance IRL that featured cool costumes and outfits.


I dunno - a dance mind enhancing pair of hotpants seems kind of disappointing. Why not some cool looking pants? Why is there this predominant air of dancing nearly naked pushed by the Devs?


Bah, just bein' a pain. Sorry.


I just wish cantinas didn't have to be FleshFests, but I guess that's what the Devs want. I've always found the Dancer's Leotard to be pretty....scandalous. Must be a buncha perverts running the clothing design for this game.

Ok, so, my memory of these threads was a little blurry. I don't know how I knew (or thought I knew) it would be hotpants, maybe someone said it to me in an email? Or at FF? Or the Summit? Who knows.

Honstly though, hotpants will be better than the leotard because it only takes up one slot. We don't yet have any male Dancer type clothes, so hotpants are really the closest thing. Now that Wookies have won the right to wear Crafter's Aprons, it's possible that Deila could ask that these be made usable by all races.



Deila - Even though my memory is blurry and that link doesn't say what I thought it did, Chrys is still prolly your man on this. In fact, he may be doing most of the Ent stuff now... and he is ok with email from Corrs.... shhhhh.

Well I hope we get such an item, but, no I don't want it to be hotpants either. Yes, I know...can't please all of the people all of the time. Maybe a modest pair of pantsitem and hotpants as well. Then add a similar alternative to the leotard for the ladies. It would have to be used in the same spot so it does not stack, though.
