Tonight, I gave a Wookiee a set of buffs. I have no idea how his Focus and Willpower were affected by my music buff, but his Mind went from 1000 to 2170. I do not have any buff enhancements. I did the buffs using /setperform and a personalized version of a non-recursive buffing macro that someone posted. The only buff I was under myself was a swig of Accarragm. Has anyone else had this (or anything like this) happen recently? Is it a bug? I suppose my customer could have taken something between my telling him that the buff was done and when he actually stoppped watching but that seems such an odd ammount.
P.S. My charcter that I was playing is a Rodian and I was dancing the Theatrical dance.

I'll bet you even money that he was using a mind buff food. Many of the people that I buff are avid PvPers and are always taking mind enhancing foods. it's gotten to the point I do not even look at their stat bar any more. I just ask if they got the full buff.

For 170 points? As a Master Dancer, I do 100% buffs... so his mind should have gone to 2000 (as it started at 1000) and not to 2170. Furthermore, he was wearing Hunying Armor (the Wookiee equivalent of Composit) so if he did use any foods, I would expect him to have used some decent Brandy and not something that gave such an odd ammount as I noticed. I would also have expected him to wait to use any foods/drinks closer to when he entered combat (he said something about not having been able to find any buffers in Mos Eisley so I figure he was heading for Tatooine).

You are assuming his mind pool was 1000. My guess is he was on some food or drink when he came into the cantina. I used to get odd results all the time because people had been popping brandy, ahrisa, etc. for hours and had some boost still in effect when they came in to get a new mind buff.

I have since given this same Wookiee another Dance buff... and his mind went from 1000 to 2000 as I had expected... so he MUST have taken something else that first time.
