I can't play SWG this week because for some reason the laptop is not letting me connect. For Xmas I got Knights of the Old Republic. This is a D+D-ish game similar to Neverwinter Nights. It's mostly about playing a Jedi, but to start with you make up a Soldier (fighter), Scout (ranger) or Scoundrel (rogue). I made up a Soldier and started playing the game.
Well, about an hour into it I found myself in a cantina. On stage were 3 musicians and 2 twi'lek dancers. I watched them for a little bit. Tried talking to them and their response was, "I'm too busy dancing to talk to you!" I thought, "No tip for you." LOL... I also thought their dance moves were pretty weak... My Twi'lek dancer on SWG has much better moves!
Then a little later I came into a spot where one twi'lek girl was dancing for someone. It turned out she was trying to audition for a spot on a band but she needed a partner and didn't have one. So I was her partner (to help her out getting the job) and my character in Knights of the Old Republic, danced with her a bit. Here I thought, "I wish I could bring Dejah (my SWG dancer) over here to do this, she is much better."
Anyway... I just thought it was too funny, that there was a whole mini-story about dancing in the middle of Knights of the Old Republic, and that you could dance for a bit in it. Not really important to the rest of the game but it was fun nonetheless.
Thought I'd share it with y'all.

If you're not a dancer why are you posting here? ![]()
Chess, you got more reaction from an honest-to-goodness NPC than you do from players in SWG. Too funny!

lol, that's an awesome game... I guess Twi'lek dancers have gotten less rude over that last 4000 years....

Yeah but she kept saying "Leave me alone, I'm trying to dance" over and over again.
Hmm... maybe she was on an AFK macro?
LOL...

That's funny lol, I had a similar thought when I played KOTOR. Kinda fleeting thought and looked back and thought... man, too much SWG.
