After I masterd musician my next holo says to master dancer. Any tips on using my musician skils to gain dancer? I was thinking to do some musician skills for healing exp since i can gain healing exp much better with 4 in healing trees of musician than with dancer.

Unfortunately, theres not much that can carry over from one to the other. You can use musician to get healing xp, of course.. And in fact as long as you hold master musician, you will be able to earn all the healing xp you need to master dancer. (Just be sure to train the healing boxes before you drop master musician, or at least before performing again after you drop it.)

However, it doesn't really give you a "head start" - you still get the same healing xp as a master as a novice does.. You just get people healed a little faster, so get the healing xp for healing them a little faster.

On a related note.....................I have novice dancer and musician. I let someone train me (for the ap points he was trying to get, of course) a box in musician healing. When I dropped the box to free up the points, a bunch of them disappeared........... Like about 35000 of them!

Anyone ever had this happen? Is it a known bug?

I'm going to put in a bug report, but I already have one bug report AND an open CSR ticket. *sigh*

It's not really a bug. You can only save up twice the value of your last trained skill box, I think is how it works. So if you untrain a skill box, the amount of exp you can save is less.

So if you are doing what the original post proposes, and you drop the music healing to pick up dance healing, you're going to lose a bunch of xp that you earned?

That never happened to me before a couple weeks ago.......wondering what the difference is.

You didn't use to lose the exp if the amount of xp you had saved was greater than what you should be able to save until recently (like < 1 month ago). At least...judging by what some friends have experienced (pun not intended).

Well, thanks Taerin. I didn't mind the three boxes of scouting xp, because they were lower boxes. (Yeah, I lost three whole boxes!) But the 35,000 entertainment healing is just painful.

Unfortunately the lesson here is........don't help anyone with their AP points. *sigh*
