Dancer Archive

The city of Elysian needs a master dancer or master musician to place a cantina for us.

we have the deed ready but lack any citizen able to place it.

I am currently working towards master dancer but it will be some time beore i will reach master, currently at 0/1/1/2

now i could be wrong but its my understanding that the building can be transferd or donated to the city after being placed.

what do you mean by 'donated to the city'?

HonestlyI have no clue I assumed it was simmilar to transfering a faction base, now I have some folks telling me its possible and some whop say its not. and as yet no solid confirmation one way or the other.

You can transfer it.. its just like a house..

Yes it is true, I tested it myself. I was master dancer for a long time and placed the cantina in our city. About a week ago I dropped master dancer and I still own the cantina. So, you do have to be master to drop the deed, but you don't have to stay master to keep it.

Just so you all know, I did kinda drop dancer for some hologrinding, but it was a very hard decision because Dancer was my first profession choice and the frist thing I ever mastered (non-afk too). I decided to drop it to try TKA. I am also a master doctor and love it (make good money doing buffs) I do miss dancing a little, I was also just getting tired of the same old 2-3 flourshes for the exotic dances. I'm sure after playing with the hologrinding for a bit, I will end up going back to dancer in the end.

Now Im interested to know who one stared me? and why? it was a simple "looking for" post and i felt it was clear and to the point.

As far as I know, it can only be transferred to another master musician/dancer or you get an error message. But having not actually tried it, I'm not clear on that one.

FYI, as long as you own the cantina and drop your master dancer or musician title, nothing will happen to it. However, attempting to transfer ownership to another player who is not a master dancer/musician will NOT work. I talked to someone on our server yesterday. Their master musician attempted to transfer ownership of the cantina to him, the mayor. He got an error message that he could not own it since he was not a master dancer/musician.

A player city Cantina can only be /transferstructure to another Master Dancer, Musician or Chef. If the Master that placed it drops the skill, the Cantina is maintained...just hope you never need to re-deed it for any reason.
