It is a wonderful thing to catch a newbie early and show them what can be done, I agree - their surprise at what is possible without a macro! I had one of those moments last night in Theed cantina, also on Eclipse - set up my effects droid with foam, got out my favourite sparkle ribbons and started doing bunduki/lyrical/theatrical mix. The mostly AFK population ignored me, but one of the ATK newbie entertainers came over to watch me and complimented me on the dancing, how cool she thought it looked. So, I grouped with her, and I showed her how to /bandflourish us both in the Funky Chicken Dance (a.k.a. basic). We were eventually joined by a couple of new-to-server ATK musicians, so I switched to my bandfill and starting teaching them the live flourish syncing method that K'vera developed (basically - call a flo sequence, you as leader play all the flourishes, the other musicians watch for your lead and when you start animating Flo #1 they hit the rest of the sequence, -1 from the number if playing mando/bandfill/nal/ommni). We looked so cool, all animating together, and all three of the new folks commented on how much fun they were having.

Unfortunately we didn't manage to attract that much patron attention, as they were all more interested in showing off their lightsabers to each other and generally lagging up the cantina with duels, but what the hey, we were really enjoying ourselves even without them And it's a great feeling to show newbies the alternatives to macroing and see how surprised and delighted they can be at the things you can do with entertaining if you really want to

I like dancing in Mos E, too. I take my HELPER tag very seriously (and when I don't feel like being a font of knowledge, I take it down, but I digress). Helping out the n00bs and just being friendly to folks is why I became an entertainer.

I just wish that '/addignore treehla' actually WORKED -- if I hear one more time her thanking someone because she was tired of carrying it around, I'll be ready for the Imperial Nuthouse on the other side of Dathomir.

And Heya.. we met,

Made Nov Dancer yesterday, Bunduki with 2 Blades. i just sat there , watched the whirling blades and was awestuck...

This looks so cool nice.

I go Ranged Way, but any Fencer/Dancer ever tried to make People cry you can Dual Wiels by using your Fencing Weapon and a Prop Blade Dual?

I know, they're so bad. I was trawling around the forums the other day and checked out the latest Top 5 list in the Roleplayer forum. Was interested to note that one of the requests was a revamp of Corellian house artwork - you do sort of the get the feeling that the developers lavished attention on Naboo and Tatooine, making them look just like the movie, and then they got to Corellia and thought "D'oh. No movie source material. Let's just make a slightly different coloured skin for those generic boring buildings we came up with and call them 'Corellian', shall we?" The locals do make up for the fact that the buildings stink, though

Bunduki is beautiful, I love that dance. I usually do it with sparkle ribbons, just cuz I like seeing them stream about when I do all those jumps and twirls and things!

If they would just make the white walls less Glary.. anyone tried torches?
