Since XP no longer shows up as a system message, nor any other useful piece of information, could we possiblily get the flourish message removed as well? It serves no useful purpose and tends to scroll tip messages off screen rather quickly. If I'm involved in group, guild, spatial, and /tells, I tend to miss tip messages frequently (even though they are colored bright yellow I still miss them). Does this message really need to be scrolled non-stop in both system messages and spatial chat? How many people actually rely on it to know they are flourishing?

Personally I would see it fitting more in the combat tab, makes more sense there, I'd also banish the "you execute a [special effect]" system messagethere. Combat players don't have their system message tab spammed with their moves, why should we?

Although then there could be issues with bandflourish, should it stay in system messages or go to combat as well? (and can they easily be separated?)

However, they are fairly low priority issues, as workarounds try this:

Set a sentance colour on the word "tips" (In Options menu under "chat color")

Right click the spatial tab and select modify tab then double click "system messages" in the right hand box, it will take all system messages out of the spatial chat.

Right click the spatial tab and select add tab. Modify it to have "system messages"only (personally I have "Quest" and "Instant messages" in there as well, and use that for following pilot and crafting as well), then drag and drop the new tab off the main bar, resize the new window and place it where you want, then you have the flourishes (and visible "tips") in one window, while your spatial window is uncluttered.

I also colored my "you perform a flourish" messages to be a dark gray and I have a separate tab like Red. Its really easy to pick up tips when you have a block of grey text and then a bright yellow one. But yeah I'd be ok with flourishes and special effects stop cluttering my main view.

Bandflos... I dunno. It might be good to have them stay sys messages in case you didn't realize you were accepting bandflos. But even if you are still smacking your own flourishes while someone is bandfloing you get exp. I do it a lot and a masterso I would vote yank it out but its up to those who are still leveling whether or not its good to see that or no.

I would not be in favor of losing this message. It helps me time things.

I have my combat box separated from my spatial. I have my system messages turned off so that they only show in my combat box. No over head spam ('cept those stupid +10 minutes buff). Tips are in bright pink. Seems to work ok for me .

I can't remember how I turned off my system messages in my interface, but to turn it onto a different box in your chat or to turn it off completely, just right click your chat tab, choose modify tab, and take the system messages out of that chat.

1 problem, I can't see when someone wants to trade me. But they've figured out that they have to yell at me to get me to trade . My tailor doesn't mine yelling at me now and then.

While this doesn't get rid of that message, this item helps me a lot:

You can choose to color code words of your choice. I have color coded the word "tip" to make it easier to see when somebody tips me.
