I may be speaking out of ignorance, but here goes.

I first mastered Dancer about a year ago. I remember back then, that I could start one flourish and then interupt it and begin another flourish. (Thus allowing for Stringing and Drift Control)

I am currently remastering Dancer with my alt and I've noticed that I can't seem to interupt my flourishes anymore.

Question is: Is this something everyone is experiencing?

We've never been able to interrupt one flourish with another. What we Can do however, is change dances during a flourish. This will result in interruptingthe last calledflourish of the previous dancewith the same numbered flourish in the second dance. It would be wonderful to be able to interrupt one flourish with another in the same dance..or better yet..be able to call sections of existing flourishes but I don't know that our current code can be adapted to support that.

We can still string flourishes by calling a second flourish at the end of the previous one. We used to be able to use the numpad keys to change directions, giving us better drift control but we lost that ability when they changed the way the server updates our position thus "fixing" the appearance of the traveling base dances (lyrical, formal, &c). We can still control drift by changing dances during a flourish to a dance who's corresponding flourish will take us where we want to be then changing back to the previous dance or another at the correct point in the flourish.
