Cool idea, however it may be difficult to do. One of the things we do need for that however is a command to start a dance as a group/ pair. Would be cool to see something like this in game, we could have a ball at weddings, or ballroom-contests.

Please list new dance styles you would like to see implemented, we prolly wont get any new ones soon but we can always hope the devs will see this right?

I would like to see a salsa style, I would also like to see a partner dance where you MUST team with at least one person and you both get xp and you dance together like ballroom dancing that way we could have ppl AFK while at the same time have ATKers haveing fun and not having to worry about afkers. I think that wouldnt solve the problem but it would help alot. N E Ways let me know what you guys wanna see on the dancefloor till then....

Keep cutting rugs guys!

I tried to do this thread about a month ago and got like no response, but I'm glad to see it brought up again. Here's what I'd like to see:

Hula

Flamenco

Real breakdancing (turtles, windmills, etc.)

Couple dancing would be great if the programming hurdles can be fixed

Rocker (head banging, jumping, air guitar)

Capoeira

Hmmm... not sure of what else off the top of my head.

There are ways to created pairs dances - just not ones used in this game. There is a "non-game" I frequent more than SWG these days and you can use "dance balls" with imbedded scripts to do single, pair and even group dances. Mine can sync up to 45 people at a time . . . .

However, within the predesignedlimitations of SWG, I think it could still be done - whether the devs/art team have the time to do it is another factor altogether. The ability to dance together just might be enough to get Kirah and Roho back to the game more often!

A group object is how it would have to be done I think. It could be done the way they do it in TSO (which is a "Dance Floor") too.

What about the dwares dances from WoW?

Female - Irish high step (think Riverdance)

Male - Russian (arms crossed kicking thing )

Also why not have dances that are specific to race/gender?
