Yes I noticed that the other day... register should reset if you log. That's exactly what's happening someone who is registered logs off but their registration stays.

Actually that's not entirely the reason why. If you notice all player city structures on the map have the * by them. This is true for the cantina or med center, and it doesn't go away until someone registers then leaves.

I have a cantina. I go through great lenths to try to remember to register so the cantina shows as manned on the map. Many times it is manned by entertainers that aren't in elite stages yet so they can't register yet.

Well anyways, I notice that my cantina is the only one on the map that doesn't appear to be continuously open. I figured the others always had an afker there, but no, this isn't the case at all. I visited two "manned" cantinas this morning that were completely devoid of any life at all. No one, not a sole in sight, no afkers, nothing, but these still showed as manned on the map. This is BS... I want to know whats going on here...

well there probably was a peep there that had registered but when ld or logout out while still in the cantina as the register doesnt die till u leave the cantina.

Does the register identify the cantina, or having the cantina placed in a registered city?

Our cantina also displays as always manned, even when there's nobody there.

I know it's not me, because as a unaligned musician I can not register at our cantina.

Maybe our droid behind the counter has registered, I know he is always there...

What is even WORSE is that now registration has become a faction activity. If an Imperial places a cantina, no Rebs will be able to register there, and vice versa. Thus, I can no longer work for Rebel cities, even if they want me there, because I cannot show that thier cantina is open. KEEP /REGISTRATION OUT OF THE GCW!!!

Actually, I noticed that the star never seems to go away. I am the only dancer in my guild (I hear rumors of another but have never seen them online and I am online a lot.) But there are about 6 cantinas on lok, all with little suns by them (except Nym's stronghold)

I set my Cantina. ....there was a star by it.

I Registered. Still a star.

I leave the cantina to go to my house. ...Still a star.

Whether I register or not, there is always a star at my cantina. And it stays, regardless of if I leave or not.

This may or may not be related to the subject - how do you register your cantina?

I dropped my cantina in my player city before the latest patch. It showed up on the map, with a * next to it. After the patch, when all Rank 1 and 2 cities were removed from the map, the cantina disappeared. It is no longer listed as a cantina on the planet. How do I register to get it back onto the map?

I know mine has a moon by it when nobody is there. I've trained all the regular entertainers to register when they are there.

After the last patch, all cantinas in cities with a rank lower than 3 were removed from the world map. As the owner of a private facility, I feel this is extremely wrong. I can see where city owned facilities, such as banks, are removed from the world map (although I disagree with the removal of cities as well). But to punish the owner of a cantina for being in a smaller city is wrong. Since the cantina is not on the world map, dancers at my cantina cannot register.

Policitians spent the exp points to gain the ability to get on the world map only to have that taken away after the fact. Dancers bust their butts to get novice to be able to register location and eventually get Master to place a cantina in what was showing up on the world map but only to have that taken away.
