It is possible, I have had multiple ppl in my guild tell me that someone did it to them. Thanks in advance.

Have you considered asking "multiple people in your guild" how they received such a buff? To my knowledge it is not possible. For an explanation of the mathematics and mechanics of buffing, see countless other threads on this forum.

I don't belive it's an exploit, though mine have yet to last a full two hours. In reading the official explanations on how the buff works from the official thread it seems to be working along those lines. I will contunie to provide "short buffs" untill Sony says it is an exploit. Then maybee I'll stop and maybee I won't <giggle>

It is in line with how buffs work, yes. However it is manipulating said system in ways that were not intended. There are limits in the system you have to work around to be able to buff that quickly.
As to doing it until they say it is an exploit... They never will. They as a rule don't list out what is and what isn't an exploit, and usually only mention generally what it was, nothing specific. So their lack of mentioning it does nothing to validate it.

Ah Tiaga if the /start /stop methode just posted is the methode your refering too then I would tend to agree it tends tword an exploit. I can produce an hour long buff in aprox 20 seconds and not stop dancing
I am toying with seeign if it will go longer but since Im not using /start /stop I dont think it's an exploit.

There are other methods to do it. However, if you are using flourishes, it is still working around the limits built into the system. If it's something else, I'm not familiar with the method.

Btw, in case you are not aware, this is an exploit in the game. With SOE banning people for using exploits, you may want to consider the consequences carefully before using it. Just a friendly heads-up.

Yes, this is an exploit. I seriously doubt they will ban anybody for using it, but use at your own risk anyway. They do know about it, and their history is to fixthings silently then put in checks to catch the exploiters, though that is usually for exploits that involve duping credits or items. This is closer in severity to the exploit involving changing hair to something that your race can't have.
Weather or not you will get banned for it, however, it is very likely to disappear at some point. So don't get too used to doing it.
