Here's another wacky idea that could be implemented using existing in-game tools (but that noone in their right mind would try to do).

The Entertainment Capital of the Galaxy.

Imagine a player-built city on your galaxy. You shuttle over to the city, which is called "Sieze the Night". You step off the shuttle and look around.

Immediately surrounding you are a BUNCH of cantinas, each with its own flair and concept. There's one which features 24x7 entertainment, one that features nightly parties, one that holds gambling, one that is a high class 'black tie' affair. Interspersed are some of the best stocked shopping vendors you've ever seen, from clothing to speeders to droids to furniture. Several restaurants grace the strip selling food and deserts.

Every night at a particular time there's a fireworks show. In the center of all this is a garden that looks like a stage and on special nights a band is hired to play outdoors under the stars.

There's a seedier section of town where vices such as drugs and other unmentionables are sold. The clubs here are darker and some are adult-only. In this section they occasionally hold a slavery auction where those who wish to sell their services for hire may be bought.

There are a few theaters in town and occasionally a performance is put on for an extra admission fee.

There are small cover charges on many of the venues, but for a special weekly or monthly fee you can buy special entry and treatment in the city.


I dunno about you, but I think it'd be a pretty popular place, and not only to entertainers.
