Thats right, drop all our inate buffing abilities by half, for +50 at master, and give the chefs a food (not a drink) that gives us up to a 125% ideal max raise (when BE'd), 100+/-5% reasonably achievable on server bonus to our base enhancment. Make its duration:filling ratio a bit on the filling side, so you can't take it constantly, eventually you will get full. See doc buff bots have the disadvantage of not taking bivoli, since that would be an expensive proposition to the bot owner at best, since generally they charge less than live docs to begin with. If all of a sudden ent bots buffs started coming out at 75% at best (assuming they had maxed out tapes) with 50% being closer to "normal" they're no longer as appealing to use. Yeah its gonna cost us a bit to get this food, but then the smucks who say its free for us to buff will be flat out wrong.
Anyway, the flurry bot/live buffer (doc and ent) thread got me thinking on this since it was brought up that it is the downside to using the bots, however convinient they may be. After all most combatants DO try to find a live doc buffing and use the bots as a last resort since they DO get inferior buffs from a bot VS live.

I think this is a very good idea to provide an advantage for live entertainers without cluttering the interface or interfering with our performance. I like it very much.

Another thing I liked from that thread (aside from the guy who posted how much better and healthier his guild is now that they stopped using buffbots) is the idea of a limit to the number of buffs you can give in one day.
I like the "entertainer bivoli" idea better though.

I’m kind of straddling the fence on this one.
I do love the idea in itself, because it would give us the much needed edge over the BoTs.
However on the other hand I worry about the financial aspect.
Already so many things in game, which give us advantage, are so overpriced most of us only get to dream about them. And watching the pattern of how the Devs mind work, I wouldn’t be surprised if they implemented something like that but it would require ultra rare component for the Chefs to make.
I don’t get to spend as much time on line as I would like to and already there were times in the past when just keeping up with the houses maintenance, my closet, accarragm and my hobbies had almost gotten me in trouble.
I think I would be in danger of bursting a blood vessel if because of my on line time limits, my buffs would be reduced to the quality of a BoT and a customer commenting with “well gee wiz I could have gotten that from a BoT” would have to watch me loose my temper.
But if they did implement it on level of at least semi reasonable prices let’s say in range of Accarragm prices then yes, definitely it would be awesome.
