This is something that my real life boyfriend have been doing, and hope catches on...

We'll go into a cantina and /yell ARE THERE ANY ATK ENTS HERE? (Which sounds rude, but what comes next isn't, I hope)

We'll get a tell back or a shout saying yeah (But never in Cnet... Go fig )and then, we'll /yell

#TT HAS WON THE NIGHTLY PRIZE, and then tip them anywhere from 25k to 100k

We've been trying to target novice ents because it helps build a good habit (We hope)

What do you folks think?

That's pretty much what I do when I have substatial mind wounds/bf to heal instead of healing them myself -- go in and ask for who is ATK and then make sure to tip them well.

So far they've mostly been people off to themselves and not grouped (since the big group leaders are often AFK), who I'm hoping really appreciated the heal exp.

Yay!

I have been the happy recipient of more than one ATK prize. It's very exciting, at least to me, to have someone tip me because they enjoyed themselves and are greatfull I was there.

I also saw one gentlemen who just /tipped every dancer he saw talking in 'non-spam'.

It was more than just the money, it was the praise he gave each of us for being ATK and providing a service he treasures. /blush

Yes! I remember that one guy doing that on my first night on Chilastra. It's part of why I keep coming back (though of course not nearly as much as I wish I could. Flurry keeps me busy and work keeps me gone 'til after 8pm )

This is not an uncommon occurance in Theed on Corbantis. There is a growing tide of players who are realizing and appreciating ATK entertainers. Just one in an evening can make the evening and often I'll have several do this. I don't even care if they tip and I don't need the exp, I'll often tell them to target an ATK novice instead of me. I do care and appreciate that they select an ATK entertainer and say so.

Great Idea I try to do this as well with my other toon.

I think this works both ways as well. Last night I was playing and dancing in the cantina and had a guy that had just started the game about 3 weeks ago start watching me to heal up. I got to chatting with him and asked how he was doing with things.

His prize for watching a Live Entertainer was a vehicle and I tipped him 50k He was just floored and I felt good for helping him and hopefully in the future he'll value "live entertainers" over others.

Edit: I think the biggest problem is that Entertainers understand there's more to the cantina than just healing BF and Mind Wounds and Buffing. If you haven't done an entertainer profession it's hard to understand there's more to it. So I try to "teach" them that not only do we offer the above but there's......friends to be made....fun to be had.....silliness out the wazoo....etc...

None of that can be offered by anyone but an ATK player that's the value of what we can offer and the rest of the world needs to "learn" that and grow to appreciate it.

I do that with my tailor character quite often

when i was finishing on my old server (Valcyn) i went into bestine and theed, and tipped 1 million to each atk entertainer.

But generally i do 100k's with Mauve about once a month or so
