Im working my way up the swordsman prof, andI keep getting BF and mind damage like crazy! I'm thinking about picking up novice entertainer, but was wondering, if I will be able to heal my own battle fatigue and mind damage while camped in the wilderness.
thanks, aslo pax

Battle Fatigue does not heal in a camp. For that, you'll need a cantina, theater, hotel, or personal home at your disposal. Wounds will heal in the wilderness, but TK can do the same and would probably be more useful for you.

Unfortunately, we can't heal BF in camps. Rather than spend the skill points ona professionyou might not otherwise choose to play, get to know a few entertainers who play during your usual times. Hire an entertainer, that's why we're in the game.

for my 2p I'm also a master swordsman as well as dancer, so welcome to the club!
i'll recommend dancing to you just because its lots of fun
but an earlier post is right - TK would probably benefit you more in terms of healing up your own wounds!

Agreed. A line of meditation would be more useful for you. Of course, I'm a dancer and a TKM, and it's really rare that I'm out in the wilderness or can't find a cantina within biking distance. So, it is helpful to be able to heal battle fatigue myself. Plus, I just can't imagine not being a dancer. But, if the only reason you are considering it is to heal BF in camps, it won't work.
But, I love my dancer/melee combo and it's fun to play. So, for that reason, I'd recommend it.

I love the whole Entertainer cantina gig so I would recommend it but not for the reasons you're asking about.
Once you work your way up Master Swordsman you'll start getting alot less BF and Mind Wounds because you'll have better defenses but more importantly be able to kill stuff alot faster.
Meditation from TKM not only heals wounds like others have mentioned but cures poisons/diseases, and gives a short term buff based off of your mind pool. The other bonus is you already have brawler since you're doing swordsman so you don't have to spend an additional 15 skill points to grab Entertainer.
I would recommend taking Dancer but because it's great fun and well the scenery isn't too hard on the eyes either

You might want to think about something like: Master Swords, Dancer 0-0-0-4, TK 4-0-0-0, Medic 4-4-4-1, and you'd have 2 points left over to spend in either the first ID or Musician box.
That would be enough to let you play around with both Dancer and TK and you could move more into one or the other down the road if you wanted to. The Medic is just cheap and would be nice to have for stimmingwhile you are deciding.

I have master dancer/ master swordsman/ novice medic. I'm happy with it. it's great for dealing with foolish new people in the cantina that think they can harass you all they want cause their big tough 3404 marksman can kill your frilly dancer on a whim.
Except for the one time when i guess hitting the guy on the head with my powerhammer must have knocked him cukoo, cause he hung around for an hour trying to get me to marry him after that. I guess some guys just respond to a girl that likes to hit them on the head with a large hammer.
