I was just wondering what you meant by a video? Is this an in-game video you can record?
If you could point me at the thread that you read about it, please do!! I'd be fascinated to find out how to do it

I highly recommend Bria and Chilastra, also. You can contact me, Kirahfaye, on Bria or Shianne on Chilastra. TC is also a good place to meet helpful and fun people (withoutnearly as much ofthe avid l33t nonsense), but there are far fewer players there and you'll want to hook up with one of the larger player cities because the NPC cantinas are dead. Both Kirah-faye and Shianne are there, too.

I'm not an avid poster on the forums..I never have been but I do read it every night before bed. I've always found many of the posting threads intresting and follow them posting when I have something to say. But this time I'm looking for a little advice/information so please bear with me.
My husband (ingame and irl) and I want to try our hand at a video.Well while I have read the thread pertaining on how to do it I still have no idea of how to go about this..nor can I exactly afford to get the more well known recorder and was wondering if anyone could direct me to a free one that could do the same thing..or even want to make a trip to Shadowfire to help us with this.
I love reading of the amazing things that go on on other servers..though it makes shadowfire seem dull.I myself have held functions such as auctioning off my guildies which are highly entertaining.To say the least my character Renea sold for 2 million credits..amazingly enough lol.I have characters on other servers but rarely venture on them because I don't know anyone so I mainly stick to my dancers on shadowfire.I've thought of making a pure enterainer on another server jsut for when I want to get away frmo things on my mian server but its hard to start over again. And I'm really shy so meeting new people is a bit hard for me..although I always loved the cantina atmopshere everyone usually being totally excepting of you even if you barely said a word they eventually gte you out of your shell.
I've been a Live dancer for a year but have more recently shied from cantinas because of the buffbots and being treated like furniture..I would love to find a comunity to get away to sometimes and jsut have fun like I do when I'm hanging with my guild.Sorry if i've bored anyone..its like 3am and I'm sleepy lol.

I have a vacation character of sorts there. (Currently a newbie Musician) If you'd like, PM me here or talk to chilastra.til or bria.eira when you have some free time to pursue this I can't promise much help, but I wouldn't mind coming along for the fun!

I know absolutely nothing about how the videos are done... I have seen some done by Javier and Balgosa, so hopefully they will be able to give ya some info.

There's been quite a few posts about how to throw the videos together, just do a quick search. In short, most use a program called fraps (www.fraps.com) to capture the source from in-game and then a standard editing program like Window Movie Maker or Premiere to cut it together.
