Thread: Need Help With Timing of Flourishes

I looked in the FAQ and didn't see what I need. I did find some macros for gaining xp and buffing, but what I want is a list of how long each flourish lasts so I can make a routine that looks good.
I have noticed that different flourishes last different ammounts of time, and I find that I am always either running one flourish into the next or having too long a gap between them. Then there is the fact that not every dance uses every flourish.
I am still only 4.4.4.3 entertainer, but plan on becoming a master entertainer/dancer/musician and want to have some good routines that I can use for performances.
I will be going through the flourishes myself to see what works with each dance and what doesn't, but if anyone knows how long each flourish lasts, and can post that information, it would be a big help.

Helped take a lot of the headache out of the equation for me. I printed out the dance card (straight word document) and used those numbers as my guide.

That is perfect and was exactly what I needed! Thank you very much! I will translate the information to file cards myself (much easier for me to use than a sheet of regular paper and will allow me to set up just the flourishes for whichever dance I am making a routine for so I won't have to search for it).

I had a devil of a time working out routines as well. I found I just couldn't get the timing down because what I saw would differ from what others saw, perhaps because of lag. However, this post

Yep, these are a really useful tool. Although I'd suggest going through them all as you have time and rewriting descriptions to make them more personalized to you.

I did indeed write up my own descriptions so I would remember instantly what flourishes I liked with each dance. Some of them I just called something along the lines of "the ugly lasso flourish" or the "please don't make me do this head jerk flourish ever"
I've been working on making up routines for each of the dances and I hope to get more creative by mixing some of the dances together. I'm not very quick at the keyboard so have been using some hotkeys for this but I've had a lot of fun with it.
