Thread: Quick question about Musical Mind enhancement attachments.

Hiya, I am very new to the whole entertainer scene, and I am looking to make an awesome master enteratiner/dancer/musician buffer (NOT AN AFK BOT of course )


I noticed that buffers without the attachments take 10 minutes to buff, and others take 3 mintues, how many attachments would I need to get it down to 3 minutes? And does this mod cap at 25 on clothing like other mods?


Also, if a piece of clothing has 2, sockets, can I put a Musical mind enhancement and a dance mind enhancement attachment in the same piece of clothing, and will they both work?

There is no attachment that can affect your buff times. The three minute buffs are a result of over-flourishing, not skill. The only skill tapes available address buff strength, wound healing speed, and battle fatigue healing speed.

Attachments have no bearing on the time that buffs take to apply. If you saw some entertainers buffing in 10 minutes and others in 3, it's likely because the 10 minute buffers either didn't know how to do it faster, or were taking a more relaxed pace with things. The skill mods in question are for (Musical or Dance) Mind Enhancement, and affect only the power of the buff. Yes, that caps at +25 just like other skill mods.

Yep.











They're supposed to, but I thought there was a bug that made this not work. Has that been fixed or am I completely wrong?

Wow Thanks for the speedy replies guys, I read the whole Buff Mechanics FAQ, but it was a little to complicated o.O..


Can someone explain "over flourishing" in 2-3 quick sentences?

I think "over flourishing" just means hitting flourishes real fast. You can hit a flourish as much as you want, but the system will only take 5 flourishes in 8 seconds (or something like that). Anything above that is just ignored. If you're a musician will play all five of those musical flourishes because the actions actually queue up and wait to be performed. If you're a dancer, though, the flourishes don't queue. If you hit all five of those dance flourishes at once, then you will only see the first flourish animated. The other 4 will still count, i.e. burn action and contribute to a buff, but they won't be performed. Either way if you hit all of those flourishes at once, over flourishing, then you will have to wait 8 seconds or whatever it is before the system will accept more flourishes.

Right, you don't wait for one flourish to end before executing the next one You end up having 5 (or more, depending on the length of the first flourish animation) flourishes counted, but onlythe firstis animated.
