OK I've read the FAQs but still am a little unclear on how
to convey max buff in the minimum amount of time.
Well...alot unclear really
Now for example: Exotic3 flo1 = 20 sec (+/- couple seconds for lag) and conveys 35% of the buff?
So 3x Exotic3 flo1 would be 1 min, but gotta go min 2 mins anyway...
Something about this doesnt quite make sense to me...can anyone help sum up in "see Spot run" phrasing?
Thanx

120 flos = max buff duration
5 flos per 'tick' (appx. 8 seconds) = maximum flo rate recognized by the server
Therefore, minimum full buff time = appx. 3:20 at 5 flos per tick.
Really, there's very little difference between which dance is performed. If you're buffing using Basic, add a few extra seconds. You're customer will probably take that long to type /stopwatch anyway.
How's that for the abridged version?

Well here's what I understand you telling me...
The time for the animation (say 20 seconds...) doesnt matter.
What matters is that I could perform the flo1 5x in 8 seconds to get max effect - just queue the flos up
as fast as my action can tolerate them to get maximum effect/minimum time.
Is that correct?

OK then here's the next mental leap...
If I queue up flourishes as fast as my action can tolerate them, with the expressed purpose of conveying 100% buff in the shortest amount of time...then the visual aspect of the flourish animation kinda gets steamrolled.
i.e. the buff occurs faster but the dance looks like 40 miles of bad road...
Any suggestions for choreography to find the best of both worlds?
Or is that the fun and challenge of dancer? Hehe I think I answered my own question...

Well, I'll go ahead and leave it as a challenge for you, as that's more fun
but just tell you that yes, it's quite possible to make things still look nice while buffing at maximum speed. Make us proud!

Hehe thanks all for the quick responses!
I got exactly the info I was looking for without flames or sarcasm, and leave with a goal in mind
You guys are GREAT!

When you trying to set up to make things look as thought they are flowing, and still buffing at max 5flos per 8sec, the first flow is what gets started, but with some flos takign as long as 20+ sec, your next 2 sets, at least, of flos would still be accounted for, but you wouldn't see the actual first flo from it.
Hope that's clear for ya.
