On New Year's Day, I logged into the Coronet Cantina with my Rodian on Intrepid (who is working on getting to Master Dancer) early in the morning. When I logged in, I was the only one there (unless you want to count a lone bot in the foyer).
I like to "sing" as I dance and have been building a collection of songs (so I don't have to repeat any over the course of a play session) and had made a macro for one that I thought was perfect for this situation (Life Line by Harry Nilsson).
Down... to the bottom,
Hello.....
Is there anybody else here?
Hello.....
Is there anybody else here?
It's cold... and I'm so lonely,
Hello!
Is there anybody else here?
Hello!
Is there anybody else here?
Hello (Hello, Hello, Hello)
Won't you throw me down a Life Line?
I'm so afraid of darkness,
And down here it's just like night time.
Won't you throw me down a Life Line?
I'm so afraid of darkness,
And down here it's just like night time.
Oobelie, Ooobely, Oogolie, Oogolie, Oohs.. Are all around me.
Hello!
Will you please send down a Life Line?
Hello!
Will you please send down a Life Line?
Down,
And there isn't any hope for me,
Unless this dream which seems so real,
Is just a fantasy
And there isn't any hope for me,
Unless this dream which seems so real,
Is just a fantasy
Almost immediately, people started coming into the cantina and watching me dance. I think they must have "heard" me from outside.
The day progressed and I had a little fun when a male Rodian was watching me and I was "singing" Joy to the World (by Three Dog Night... modified because my character is female)... and /winked at him right after the following lines:
If I were theQueen of the world
Tell you what I'd do
I'd throw away the cars and the bars and the wars
And make sweet love to you
Tell you what I'd do
I'd throw away the cars and the bars and the wars
And make sweet love to you
When he left, he thanked me for the song and the heals and gave me a big tip.
Eventually, I started growing tired (I had been dancing for 9 hours and my legs were killing me). So I told the people there that I was going to log off and take a break. (Please note that by this time there were now 2 or 3 bots and another3 or 4 afk entertainers that were just grinding.) As soon as I stopped dancing, the people there started begging me to stay, telling me that I would be losing the xp from healing them... so I gave in and told them that I would stay until they were healed, but that I really did need to take a break..
All in all, I had a lot of fun and a possative experience with my audience.

Yay! More, more! Let's hear more stories of when things are working the way they're supposed to!
I know it may not happen all the time, or every day, but that's okay. I'm willing to wait. Post your great stories like this!
