We can certainly hope so!

The players will go where they can get xp, credits or rare/uber loot or weapon components. Make the payouts for the City Game high enough & they'll be there. I would hate for us to get something cool & it end up being as unused as the Lucky Despot.

I play on Tarq... We don't have enough players online at any one time to fill three of the NPC cities. Maybe if they could send some new players to the other servers instead of Bria we could get some amount of traffic in cities other than Theed and Coronet.

Another thought.... Putting the jedi content and the only high level combat loot/combat xp on a remote planet doesn't help NPC cities in the slightest. I am definately interested in what my fellow dancers think can be done though. I honestly don't feel like we currently have ANY sway on where the population goes. I think we all have our own empty cantina or theater we can't get people to. (Unless it's in a town near said jedi or combat loot). The hardcore combat grinder types want a dancer/musician/doctor) to go where they go and be online 24/7... If we aren't they just buy another account and do it for us *sigh*.

Well, you are right on that. I must admit that I recently went out and bought a second account (my old CDs needed replacing anyways... defective) and that char I'm turning into a Dancer/Musician. But one thing that I do have to say is that she'll be going where I already see very few to no entertainers at rather than following me or going to Theed or Coronet (or similar places). I've already had a friend tell me that I should go there (Coronet) as I'll get xp much faster. I told him no way and not because of the lag either. The computer I'm running her on can handle Coronet. I just don't feel like going someplace where there are already 50 million other folks doing the same exact thing.

high level contentbelongs out in the remote planets - the remote planets should be more dangerous than thoes that are not. otherwise you have no point for the remote planets. entertainers should not be the only reason for people to go into the npc cities. maybe for better healing go into the npc cities. or maybe have very high level merchants, or some way to rotate merchants being able to post somwhere in the cities from time to time to bring people into them. maybe have some people able to live in the cities, or give missions that make you stay in the city for a time. maybe if you have random raids of cities then you can have combat aroudn that city and that would bring people into tthem for healing afterwards. that would go well for both combat and the healing professions, and would benifit imperials and rebels. if you had more of that it may help.
