Hey folks, found this thread posted by a new Dev. I found it to be a perfect place to report about the nightmare that was the Entertainer Quest. Remember the "Community Relations" we received from that? A Feedback thread that was never acknowledged to exist, Panthu getting asked to not create a PR incident, muzzled Correspondents, stealth hotfix implementation with an update note 2 weeks later?


Don't want to dredge up old bitterness, but for the benefit of this game, I felt inclined to report how appalling I found the process. You can also express opinions on the forums and Community Relations.


The thread already has a post stating that he's reading things, but holding off on comments. That's more than we ever got for the Entertainer Quest, in the 5 months or so it sat unresponded to.


Don't get nutty in there, just state what you like and be constructive. I don't think any profession should get treated like we did, when getting our first real new content since Launch. I thought I'd give everyone the chance to express their thoughts, too, and provide a link.

I remember him from UO... I don't remember if he was the Stratics guy or the UO guy per se... I do remember that he was used to post news items about content changes though

taking a break from spinning doughnuts in KGB corner of project gotham racing 2... Jedi, this is probably our golden opportunity. We have a new PRrep who hopefully won't be the Dan Rather of SWG, but more of the Bill O'Riley (i.e. not-as-elitist that actually responds to letters). Have you and the other entertainment correspondants informed the new rep of what problems currently exist with our types of professions?

Hopes Warryyr, MDPT,took the opportunity to sneak into the Dev lounge while they were all out for the holidays, and get his hands on the good coffee and donuts...

I gotColumbian Supremo (good enough, spring for better coffee SOE), 2 crullers, and a chocolate frostedcake donut. Tiggs had forgotten her car keys, and nearly foiled my plan, however I scooted into a closet in the breakroom right before she came in. In my haste, I droppeda raspberry-filled donut and a bear claw. After she'd gone, I cried a little and gave them a proper burial behind the office.They truly made the ultimate sacrifice. God bless, little doughnuts. Wherever you are.


I also hooked all of Thunderheart's paperclips together into one long chain, and dusted off his "Top 10 Issues for Professions" binder for him.


Then I taped a small piece of paper with "et rid of the AFK'ers" on it, after JustG's name on his nameplate.


Mission complete, I sipped on my coffee, pleased with my handiwork. No worries, I locked the door behind me as I left. Wouldn't want anyone getting in there and causing trouble.
