Thread: new to this buffing thing.. how do i speed it up?

my normal macro's take like 5 mins or soo to get a full buff.. but sometimes people just want a quick one and to be honest some of those people id rather get um gone as fast as possible : )
My normal pauses are 10 im sure i have to reduce the pause but not sure how much.. id like to have a quick one about 2:30- 3 mins... cuase people get very impatcient at times /sigh im not a bot : ( but i figure i can make a little money and get the people outta there faster and get back to what i love to do... entertain : )
any help would be great

flourish twice as often, and you should buff twice as fast

Ahhh hehe why didnt i think of that : P
oky ill try a 5 sec pause.. i just think to many flo with out pause just looks silly ya know
But ill give that a shot and see what happens

You can flourish up to 5 times in 10 seconds. The 10 seconds are reset with the "XP-tick" (when you get XP, or would get XP in case you're capped). So you can flourish 5 times between XP ticks.
My macro just flourishs with a 2 seconds pause between each flourish, that equals 5 in 10 seconds
Others do 5 flourish at once and pause for 8 seconds (its 8 not 10 for lag-reasons).
But I personnally don't like this macro, because it can lead to your character dancing the base-dance for around 16 seconds, whereas my macro usually starts a new flourish after 2 seconds at most.
With that macro I'm done in 1 minute 45 seconds with a buff.
Oh and another nice thing you should know: The dance you do (or the song you play and the instrument you use for musicians) is unimportant for the buff. So it makes no difference for the buff itself if you use Exotic 4 or Basic 1, it will take the same time, lasts as long and is the same strength.
But Basic 1 takes about half or less action than Exotic 4, and I can actually do that buff without the use of accarragm or a buff, if i dance Basic 1 for it. I end up with 10 or 20% Action left, but it works
