The alias spam is a pain, isn't it? I haven't found a solution yet. All that I've thought to do is use the color assignment options to turnall lines including the text "executing alias" toa dull grey, so it's moreeasily ignored.

I remember seeing someone post how they handle it. They have a chat box called macro spam, switch to it in a macro that calls the alias, then switch back to spatial. The exact command to switch chat boxes can be found by hovering over the chat's tab on your screen. This way all the text output from a big alias goes into a different window and its done quickly enough that you shouldn't miss any real chat.

I read Tiaga's page on aliases at swgentertainer.com, and also found Kyorlana's old thread on them searching the forums, but there's one question I haven't seen answered, or ever addressed since April of 2003: is there any way to get rid of that annoying "executing alias ___" message that pops up in the top chat tab?

Thanks to a suggestion from another player I've been able to work around it, by dragging Spatial off into its own window, but that's at ad hoc solution at best.

I believe that was Eaca's trick. It works quite well.

But my smile still stays on
My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies
Fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die
I can fly - my friends
