I'm sure most of us here are aware of the excessive spam troopers added with the last patch. The ones that spam something like this:
[Spatial] 06:23:09 "HQ doesn't have a record on you.", RK-705 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says. "Vagrancy isn't against the law here, but if you so much as make one wrong move I'll haul you in."
[Spatial] 06:23:27 "I have more respect for a rockmite than for a Rebel. At least the rockmite doesn't know any better. Maybe you Rebels don't either.", RK-705 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says.
[Spatial] 06:23:45 "I can't believe some of the noble families have aligned themselves with the Rebels. Just goes to show you how spoiled they really are.", RK-705 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says.
[Spatial] 06:24:03 "We got reports that some of the Rebels are in hiding.", RK-705 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says. "Exactly what I would expect from a group of cowards."
[Spatial] 06:24:04 "This is patrol.", VK-133 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says. "I'm going to check the cantina."
[Spatial] 06:24:13 "This is an Imperial inspection. Cooperate and you will not be harmed.", VK-133 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says.
[Spatial] 06:24:20 VK-133 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says, "You there! I don't think I've seen you before."
[Spatial] 06:24:20 VK-133 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says, "You there! I don't think I've seen you before."
[Spatial] 06:24:20 "You there!", VK-133 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says. "I don't think I've seen you before."
[Spatial] 06:24:21 "We've had reports of Jedi in the area. If you see a Jedi report him to the local Imperial authority. You may be detained for questioning, but it will be brief.", RK-705 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says.
[Spatial] 06:24:30 "Who are you looking at, huh? Let me see your papers!", VK-133 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says.
[Spatial] 06:24:33 VK-133 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says, "These papers look like forgeries. Your breath stinks. You're drunk aren't you?"
[Spatial] 06:24:34 "You're a drunk and you can't even manage to explain why the sixth stamp is missing from your papers?", VK-133 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says. "Don't make any sudden moves. I'm going to call this in."
[Spatial] 06:24:41 "I hear Princess Leia is in league with the Rebels.", VK-133 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says. "Doesn't surprise me, I never did trust her."
[Spatial] 06:24:54 "Well, everything checks out.", RK-705 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says. "If there are any Rebels in here they're stinking cowards who won't stand up for their own pitiful cause."
[Spatial] 06:24:59 VK-133 (an Imperial stormtrooper) says, "My job would be much more pleasant if I didn't have to deal with stinking Rebels."

Well there's good news folks! You can /report NPCs as well as players. Personally I felt VK-133 and RK-705 were harassing me and interupting my play time, so I reported them both, and guess what, the report went thru on both of them! I'll be posting this chat log on the bug forum, but feel free to report any NPC harassment via the report command, after all that's what it's there for.

This was so annoying having it every 5 to 10 minutes yesterday 
The best part? seeing the slew of dead afkers on the floor for hours when i got there! LOL

Is there a way to separate NPC talk in your chat channels? I can see this being terribly annoying.

Isn't it considered griefing if we figure out ways to kill afk'ers, but it's not if an NPC does?
