Welcome back. Let me just warn you that Buffbots are not gone from all servers. They are unfortunately very much alive and well on Shadowfire as are the horde of afkers. The cantina on the Wookiee Homeworld has been active for about 2 days and last night was my first opportunity to go see it. There was an AFK master musician set up there (and not flourishing). Most of our live population has been run off and we're on a delicate thread. Although it is funny to see so many who haven't realized they don't have to hold a weapon any more if they don't want to... /sigh okay actually it's sad..very sad.

So just be aware that the servers are still very different. If you are looking for an already lively and booming entertainer population then you won't find it on Shadowfire. If you were looking for a server that was in desperate need of more live performers to help win the war then Shadowfire could use your help!

We've got a pretty decent entertainer community on Gorath. I've been in audition for the band, The Kreetles. There are RP events every weekend and we're planning a lot more now that we're getting rid of so many of the bots. Example:

This is a weekly RP social event featuring entertainment by the Kreetles.

We also have two events which are on alternating Sundays:

This is a weekly RP event that includes entertainment by the Kreetles, live dice games, and provides a backdrop for either socializing or IC business.

A weekly RP social for the seedier side of the galaxy. (Spicin' and dicin'!) Bring your character... and a few friends to watch your back.

I would appreciate any comments or advice. I find that the galaxy is quite different now from the one I knew, but I would like to experience it all anew!

KETTEMOOR! This is the best server for the entertainer professions. You'll find ATK entertainers in Theed almost any time of the day and there are parties almost every night. The only buffbots that I've seen have cloistered themselves in the Hotel, which is fiiiiine with me! Come check us out.
