I am a Master DE on Gorath, I would like to start making Droids that Musicians & Dancers would use and wanted to get some idea's aboutwhat you are looking for in a Droid. This is not a solicitation for sales, I am looking for info on what your prof is looking for when buying Droids.If at some time in the future you need a Droid you can always hunt me down.

The obvious choices are the effects droids for both musicians and dancers and the playback droids for musicians. Many people like the R2 style droids for both of these since you can put all effects and playback tracks in them, and if there's room, a storage compartment is always nice. Some people like the mouse droids for doing effects because they are smaller and less noticeable, but then you have to select which effects you like because they don't all fit. I don't know if there's a list of rankings on which effects most people like best anywhere, if you wanted to try to make a few of these with the most popular effects to put on a vendor.
Other than that, it really depends on the other professions a musician or dancer has, and whether they like to be in combat situations at all. Many probably wouldn't mind a combat droid for protection or simple combat - I certainly have one. The maintenance droid can be useful, until it gets bugged. I have one of those too, but it's broken now, and I can only use it for storage. Many dancers would probably just like some simple storage droids. After that you start getting into the profession specific droid capabilities and then there's no longer any need to focus on Entertainer needs.

I'm on Gorath and I'd LOOOVE a new effects droid and playback droid. As posted above, the R2 are the best kind and I'd love to get these in hot pink if possible. /grin
