So here I am, Master Dancer/Master Entertainer. A small group of vet players on our server (Naritus) has taken to hanging out in Mos Eisley, the "noob city", where all the new players start... to help them out etc.
So I am in M.E. cantina, and one of the other vet dancers (Cindal) is there. We are grouped up and there are 3-4 other people ranging from having just bought the game this week to a level 50-something combat type who is also an entertainer. Most of us are at-keyboard.
So we are having a good time. But I notice that the 50-something player never says much. After a bit his "AFK" flag goes up, automatically, no doubt. He is there in the cantina AFK macroing away.
Every few minutes, the stupid Stormtrooper NPC walks into the cantina and does his spam thing, you know how they work... And one of the guys on the band is a rebel combatant I guess, so he keeps getting into fights with and killing the trooper. But the trooper is persistent, and I guess doesn't mind BF or armor decay because he keeps coming back.
Eventually the rebel on the group leaves... and the next time, Mr. AFK level 50 dance macroer gets inspected, and apparently found out to be a rebel and set to "combatant." This is where the fun begins.
He was AFK, so he couldn't defend himself. He got incapped. Stood up... Started dancing again... got incapped... Stood up, started dancing, got incapped and killed. He stayed there as an AFK corpse for quite some time afterwards.
Well... I dunno... It just made me laugh.

lol i like that and it reminds me of an idea i had. Turn the spam troopers into a sort of bouncers that ask you to reply to something, like "What's 2+2?" and if you don't answer in a certain time frame you get kicked out of the cantina and put in a jail.

The storm troopers in my area seem to just carry a tape recorder with them everywhere, they enter the cantina, hit play, take a nap...
This one time they actually helped us, I got into quest that was too hard for my group, oops, but right at the nest was this huge group of storm troopers! And they were shooting the critters! I laughed, then started shooting the nest. More of them appeared, a huge rain of lazerfire, they all fell down, and my small group was left unmolested to destroy the nest! ... Then I thanked their leader with an emote, and was fined 2400 creds. *huff* We were hard for cash at the time, that may be a tiny amount for most but it really hurt me...
All I can do is make fun of them behind their backs though, I enjoy living too much to try anything. Heh...

I hate the troopers! I was dancing in M.E. when I accidentally hit the attack key while I had one of them targeted, and it incapped me and fined me 5000 creds, which of course left me broke. It would have really been a bummer, but this sweet patron tipped 5000 to make up for it

lol, dont mind me just bored in class and trolling the entertainer proffession forums. Dont have a dancer char, but my alt was the rebel musican that Dejah was talking about that kept killing the trooper.
I was wondering what would happen to that AFK guy when I logged since most of the time the tropper actually agroed him instead of me funny stuff.

i agree, they are quite annoying. especially when you are imperial and you are running away from a rebel way better than you and the "stop for inspection" thing comes up, you keep running, and BAM, you lose 50 faction points.

I used to do that alot just for the hell of it on Chimera (After i went broke) where I have my Imperialistic character.. I would play it of f as,, "Boy, these Stormtroopers must be gay if they don't want some lovin by a CUTE little bothan like me"
