Thread: Well this is a new one!
I actually had this happen to me when I first started in february of last year.
I stopped getting the quests because there was no one in the cantinas. ![]()
I also recently had a player come out to our city's cantina. I drove by a few times while I was loading up my vendors with finished goods, then finally went to go see who was most likely afk-macro'ing their way through the profession, in /my/ cantina. In case they were actually there, I iniated conversation, and they answered back. We got to talking, and she told me that the entertainer quest had sent her there. I was absolutely flabbergasted, in a good way.
AFK entertaining gets a permanant ban in my cantina. I ended up tipping her some credits (100k) and giving her a bunch of new dance clothing, I was so excited to see someone out in my desolate area of Tatooine - alive and talking none-the-less.

It also happened to me a long time ago. I got missions from terminals leading me to player cantinas. Indeed, when I started the game, my first ent mission led me to a player cantina. Unofrtunately, this one was set to private so I couldn't enter, letting me somewhat confused about the whole process.
Missions then made me move to places I would have no reason to go otherwise, it was interesting even if I met very few people.
Since, it appears missions are only leading me to hotels, places I really don't like to go because it serves no purpose as people very rarely enters them. So I stopped. Maybe should I check now.
I'd like mission terminals propose me dancing into player owned cantinas (again). It would help me giving me some directions rather than just randomly choosing one to visit. More, staying there 10 minutes to fulfill the mission increase (a little) the chance to meet someone. It's a bit more incentive, to give the place a chance.
