Thread: New Profession Proposal: Buffbot Killah

This is an elite profession taken directly off of Master Entertainer.
The four lines include:
1) Taunt I-IV. This line allows you to learn the various arts of taunting and making fun of the buffbot. At Taunt I, for example, you learn the art of "mimicking." For example, everytime the Buffbot emotes a macro'ed /smile, you are now able to immediately mimic that emote with something such as /emote belches. At Taunt II, you continue your mimic'ing abilities with emotes directed directly at the buffbot. For example, after the buffbot smiles, you are granted several options, not least of which is /emote rips *buffbots* eyes out and shoves them down his/her throat. By the time you reach Taunt IV, you receive the title of "Sarcastic Diva" and are able to spew out a string of obscenities after every buffbot spam.
2) Disabling I-IV. This line allows you to learn the art of disabling the buffbot. At Disabling I, you learn how to auto-invite yourself to the buffbots group. At Disabling II, you become immune to the buffbot's disband feature. By, Disabling III, you are able to assume leadership of any group getting an afk buff. By the time you've reached Disabling IV, you earn the title of "Hostile Takeover Artist" and are able not only trap the buffbot indefinitely, but anyone who joins his/her group, rendering them useless until server reset.
3) TEF'ing I-IV. This line allows you to make the buffbot vulnerable to enemy attack. At TEF'ing I, you are able to make the buffbot appear as a red dot on radar so that everybody knows where the enemy is located. At TEF'ing II, you gain the ability to make the buffbot say, "put me out of my misery, I deserve to die." By TEF'ing III you are able to adequately apply a 15 minute enemy flag to the opposite faction. And, finally at TEF'ing IV, your TEF lasts for four hours, the buffbot is aggro'able by rebels, imperials, and neutrals, and you gain the title of "Witch Hunter."
4) Attacks I-IV. This line gives you various tools in which you, as a dancer or musician are able to apply actual damage to the Buffbot. At Attack I, when the dancer targets the buffbots, dances popular2, and does flourish 1, the kicking motion strikes the genital region of the buffbot, causing 50 points of health wound damage. At Attack 2, the musician is able to swing his or her bandfill around, striking the buffbot in the head, causing 50 points of mind wound damage. By Attack 3, the Musician is able plunge a traz, fizz, kloo horn or any "horn" instrument directly into the heart of the buffbot, thereby causing 300 points of health wound damage. At attack IV, not only do you gain the title of "Hero," but dancers are also able to use the smokebomb effect as a means in which to cripple the buffbot through suffocation, causing 200 points of damage to all 3 HAM bars.
After gaining your requisite 620 apprentice points, you earn the title of Master Buffbot Killer, as well as the ability to /glare at a buffbot, which causes the buffbot to explode. Pieces of buffbot will fly across the Cantina, and your friendly neighborhood buffbot finds himself in the nearest cloning facility.
Please /sign if you like this idea so we can propose it to the devs.
Thanks!
uh, I have two questions:
1. How will the Master Buffbot Killah make money? Do they take money from the Buff Bots? Or do they work off of tips as a service?
2. Will there be Quests?

leia slave skirt? /drool
My question is, what abilities are gained at novice Buffbot Killah? Perhaps a limited TEF'ing ability that only allows members of your current group to attack the buffbot and some basic taunting.
My suggestion is, the wounds afflicted should focus more on the action of the buffbot instead of the health and mind. This goes with whan an actual buffbot killah would do in real life.
Great idea

Panthu -
I don't know about the other servers, but on Bria any Buffbot Killa, of ANY skill level, will never go without credits. Between Kirah, Lei, and I alone, they'd be set for life. THESE guys would get tips like we dream about.
Quests - These would be the first of the player generated quests that everyone wants. "/tell BuffSlayah I have a buffbot here in Theed Cantina and 10,000 credits. Are you interested?"
